OK guys I have a rather lengthy and technical question but I hope you might be able to answer it for me.

I am currently using a secondary line on a family share plan that is not due for an upgrade yet. However, one of the other secondary lines on that same plan is eligible for an upgrade. I seem to recall reading that it is possible to switch our upgrade eligibility dates so that I can upgrade my line to an Incredible while the other lines gets the later upgrade date.. is this true? And if so, can I do it at an actual Best Buy store? (I heard that at Best Buy they do instant rebate rather than the $100 mail-in rebate; instant is preferable -- can anyone confirm that?)

What's the difference between a Best Buy store with a mobiles section and a "Best Buy Mobile" store, anyhow?

Thanks! :D
Just 14 days, folks :)

T-14 days folks :)

yes that is affirmative, you can use the other line to upgrade with all the perks (except NE2) and just switch the lines on the phone.

And you see that folks I do contribute from time to time. ;)

Does everyone else see a picture of themselves when they view this. And how did they get a picture of my car and my favorite shoe in there?!

I believe that is true, or you can have them get the upgrade, switch phones with you and then they can re-activate their old one. does that make any sense what so ever?! lol

Has anyone noticed or posted yet (went through the past several pages but wasn't sure)...

TV OUT! TV OUT!

OK, so it *isn't* HDMI but it IS TV out! (check out the TV out cable in the PDF...actually, it looks identical to the one I have for my Zune!)

Does anyone "in-the-know" know if I will be able to use my annual upgrade to purchase the Incredible?

You should be able to, as long as you are in the time frame for it. I was able to talk Verizon into bumping up my annual upgrade a little early, so that I could get my Droid; this was back in December. It took about six tries or so over the course of a couple days. I had to "kill them with kindness" to do it. But all of that was from me trying to do it early.

I am stoked to get rid of my iPhone. Its funny how over the last 2 yrs i've gone from loving the iPhone and thinking Android phones were under spec'd and ugly.... to wanting to throw my iPhone out the window and am lusting over the D.I.

I was in Denver for an interview early this week and I dropped 14 phone calls in less than 2 days. I literally could not walk down the street without loosing a call. I went to the Mets/Rockies game and had no service the entire game while my friend had full bars on his VZW storm. I was actually jealous of someone with a storm1:eek::eek::eek::eek: Plus I had no battery by the end of the game bc the stupid thing was searching for a signal the whole time:mad:

I purchased. A moto Droid on the 6th. I stopped where I bought it and they told me either turn it in now and get a loaner phone, a.k.a old flip phone, or keep the Droid in excellent condition until the 29th. Sine I go to a tech school in PA for welding and normally keep my phone in my pocket ill be taking the loaner phone. I don't want to risk damaging this one and having to pay full price for the incredible. I haven't had a nonsmartphone for 3 years. Its going to be a rough 10 to 13 days, depends on when I get the loaner...
