Root Flashing the Triumph to Straight Talk?

I know it's possible..i'm just unsure of how to do it. My roommate wants his flashed to ST from VM. I don't understand why. Straight talk is horrible.

Straight talk is a catch all service. It would have to be under Sprint's section if they have a deal with ST. And I haven't heard of anybody getting their phones unlocked.

Me personally, I wouldn't do it ( have him look at this post in a couple of days.) The MT is made just for Sprint's bands. It couldn't be moved to Verizon. It can't roam. There is a chance it might work on MetroPCS, I don't know their bands.

Just leave it on VM and, if possible, keep milking your deal.

Straight talk is horrible.

Implying that virgin mobile is better? lol. But still, I wouldn't try to flash this phone over to straight talk. It's honestly not worth it. Nobody gets the Motorola triumph because it's a good phone, they get it because they want a $35 plan.
