Root Anyone tried?

I am going to try it when i get a motion back from lg being repaired
Sammyz did say he tried it
Shabbypenguin told me its called Archos or arch is the best for Android
But that was maybe a year ago when i had a samsung admire
Things may or may not be different
But there is a site dedicated to this
I think its called

Oh i also wanted to add a comment about your thread title
It would help you to not be so vague

If you added. (linux on android) to the title
1 you will get the list of similar topics in the generated search
2 yoh have for more chance of getting attention of someone who knows

I just think a little info of the thread topic is important and will help you more.
 
If anyone decides to run linux on your motion and runs into memory issues,our stock kernel supports swapping from file or partition.
You can make a partion on your sd card as big as you need and use it as memory not as fast but helpful
And i read some versions of linux need Bash installed
I have Bash for Android
