I was poking around and found an Emulator for Android 2.1. It doesn't have SenseUI but if you want to poke around and play with Android 2.1 you can do so using the emulator on your PC.

Doubt it. I'm guessing $199 after MIR, and the $100 online discount is ILO MIR.
Well the Skype app that Verizon offers doesn't work over wifi and since you won't have a 3G signal Skype won't work... problem unresolved
However, Vonage mobile is supposed to work on wifi which should cover you for making calls while abroad

Just talked to a local best buy in elk grove, ca and the ditsy lady I talked to said that they werent sure how they were going to work it but sounded like you could leave with the inc on Sun, she told me to call back tomorow to be sure though, that they would have a definite by then!

Like so many places these days that seem to be slapping together a hasty bit of reporting, in a useless attempt to catch up to us, they've only given a bare-bones rundown of everything they were talking about. I think it's pretty apparent, given all that we know here, that they were referring to the 2-year after rebate price, since it's the best, known, advertised price.

So, I'm sure this is just an illusion ... But ... This picture makes it look like there's a light around the Optical Trackpad.
I'm SURE it's not ... but wouldn't that be interesting? It would have come up somewhere I'm sure so I'm 99.9% sure it's just an illusion...
Where did this image come from? I've been looking for some decent photos. The press shots seem to just be crappy renders.

Likely an embargo on reviews until after the weekend. Leading to the thought that some sites have review units to test over the weekend.

Even if they didn't save the pictures, they might still be in their cache. Might be worth a look for anyone who was able to get there for the hour or so that it was online.

I went into BestBuy store that has a BB Mobile inside. Talked to Asst Manager. Was told that you can Pre-order the phone 18th or after and pick up 29th (Not before). One thing I was told that I have not seen is that on the 29th they will only have the Incredibles that are pre-sold. They will not get additional inventory of incredibles for sale until a week or 2 later (After the 29th). Only incredible phones they will have on the 29th are pre-sold ones

WOW THIS IS INTERESTING NEWS!!!! well ever one is wondering what is up with this bbm site and what they stated yesterday about the pre sale...there are 3 bbm close to me...i just got home from the closest one.. i talked to a rep and..this is a quick recap of our convo..
ME: i was checking your web site out and i noticed it said you were going to have a pre sale on sunday offering the incredible..when you say pre sale are you talking about pre -order as if i come in and order the phone and you will have it on the 29 or are you saying i can come in and buy the phone it self on sunday..
Rep: well we just recieved an email a few hours ago stating that we WILL have the phones in stock by sunday..im not sure exactly when they are coming in but you should be able to come in on sunday and buy the phone....
Im not 100% percent sure if this is true or not after reading what other people had heard but this guy sounded like that was the case and we can get the phone on sunday.. i guess

Most definitely over the Eris! It's the next generation of the same type of phone with every possible spec improved.
As for this vs. iPhone or whatever else, they are different phones, and will make diff. people happy. Try the Incred. in store and try an iPhone - see what you like.
