So I was wondering, is there a root for the GS4? I mean it had a software that is on the GS3 already, id like to know ASAP.

From what I've found, international root is available, not us versions since it isn't released yet

When a root method is found for US phones within the next month, will that method possibly still work for the Verizon model?

Realistically no one can possibly answer that until a root method is found. What works for one carriers phone may not work on another. Have to wait and see.
