i may have just convinced my dad to buy an incredible. he uses his work phone and isnt on the family plan. but if he adds a line and wants an incredible, is it gonna be 199.99 for him ?

Nexus Mod could do that. It was like the Nexus One wallpaper but you could change the background and the colors of the lines. It wasn't compatible with the Droid on 2.1 at first but they may have fixed it by now.
Edit: Just realized you were talking about the Sense looking Wallpaper ... Dunno about that one.
I didn't know the incredibles screen was going to be so blurry I might just get a droid now.

Just the image. I won't be running live wallpapers as I'm sure they drain the battery pretty bad. Actually, I'll be making so many custom wallpapers for this phone, there's no clue what I'll end up going with for my wallpaper. I'll just make a bunch of them and stick with the one that looks the sweetest.

my contract is up in july of this year but both family plan lines have been eligible for an upgrade for a while (one has a 50.00$ discount). So, when I preorder the phone, does this make the new contract end in april of 2012? Is this even the same contract, or am i getting the actual plan and the ne2 mixed up? im confused

Very friendly and brown-nosing email just sent to VZW customer service. I'm only asking to bump my NE2 up 6 weeks, not 6 months. Also, I've converted my gf away from ATT to VZW (she's pre-ordering the DrInc) so that's more money in their pockets thanks to me. Give a feller a break, please.

That's what I was thinking. Too bad the first wild video we get is so blurry. Oh well, I'm sure there will be lots more coming soon, probably even next week.
Interestingly, I thought the Verizon official release images were pretty poor as well.

I'm sorry but this is just driving me crazy. And here soon this forum will be no more, sadly for most of us. So lets end it on a happy note and focus on the good things this forum has done. Nice, I have already contacted my buddy that paints cars and I asked him if he can paint the back panel for me. I am going to go for something like the stripe down the middle of the Ohio State football helmet, with a nice glossy finish coat.

I think I'll run Live Wallpapers for a few weeks just to show off and then I'll be creating my own as well. Maybe check out the Zedge app and see what kind of wallpapers I can find on there.

yeah cyanogen does that with his custom roms. but you have to be rooted to do it. so we have to wait till the phone gets rooted, and then for them to make a rom that will allow us to do this. like i said earlier in a post about 10 pages back. just because the incredible doesent do something now. IE.. 720p recording, doesent mean it cant do it with a custom rom. i bet this phone has all kinda of hidden features that we dont know about yet. and untill someone actually hacks it and takes a closer look we wont know.

What does the size of the wallpaper have to be when you are using 7 screens (since they sort of flow onto each other)....
I have some nice pics I took that I use for computer wallpaper that I wouldn't mind resizing.
We really should put up a thread for everyones wallpapers.

I've been back and forth on this one. At first I heard it was just 480x800, but then someone in the wallpaper thread in the Incredible sub-forum (it's on the second page, I believe since there hasn't been a post on there in a few days) said that it would be 960x800. So...I'm not sure. I wish someone would officially confirm this for us so I can start making some sweet wallpapers.
