Possible Bricked Phone...HELP?

i followed all the steps in the root manual. i downloaded fresh 2.0. i held home when i rebooted the phone, and installed rom from the zip. after it did that, i rebooted the phone...it gave me the first htc screen, then the 2nd with the white and green "think brilliant" or whatever it says...and then back to the black htc screen where it looks like a light is shining over the htc logo...then it does nothing.

if i take out the battery, and reboot holding down home, it goes straight to a white screen with 3 android guys at the bottom. it says the following:

HERC XC
HBOOT-1.41.0000 (HERO20000)
MICROP-0110
TOUCH PANEL -SYN0104
RADIO-1.04.01.09.21

CLEARSTORAGE
Delete all user data?

<SEND> No

Did I brick it?

by holding down Home and Power to turn it on (keep holding until the recovery screen comes up has a bunch of text on a black background

i can't get past the white screen i described. and i'm afraid to select anything (if i even can) before someone knows for sure whats going on with it.

pull out the battery!! and the turn it on on recovery mode!!
i'm telling you i have done that several times...i hold home+power down and it goes to that screen described...i don't let off of it, continued pressing, and it won't leave the white screen with text.

do i want to make that selection "clear storage"?

if so...is that just pressing the talk key? i'm sorry if i'm not making sense, i'm new to this.

I responded to your post in the root section. Please keep the topic in there as that is what it pertains to.

Yes. Press... send
It will delete delete what it needs
And it will try to boot...

It cant boot..
Pull battery and boot into recovery... this time it should jump into recovery

Problem already resolved (in the correct thread in the correct place).

This is why it is not wise to post the same thing 3 times in different places :)
