My friend passed her floor and stopped in the 3rd floor lobby to look at the rather nice bouquet sitting on a glass-topped, round table across from the elevator.

She lives on the 2nd floor, but wanted to look at it because she had heard that somebody peed on the plant and "made a big mess."

While regarding the yellow-green liquid on the fake plant and the table, and seeping from the wicker pot, it occurred to me that it was green tea, not urine.

I could tell because I spilled green tea on the pool side serving table a while back, and it had the same look as this. There was no accusation of my having peed on the serving table, but my friend was not there by the pool at the time.

"Somebody poured green tea in the plant pot," I said.

"Yeah. Looks like green tea, not pee," she replied. She looked very happy as we returned to the elevator.

I felt like theorizing on why a person would pour green tea on a potted, plastic plant, so I let my mind go around a bit about how realistic the plant looked and how maybe someone thought that green tea was good for plants, not knowing it was fake.

Baby boomers are a strange lot, we are.

Yeah.. that radiation settled into the ground and the food we ate made us wiggy. I think we're interesting, though.

I dislike boring generations. Like X and the one that is being adopted out of China by Americans.
