All,

The Wife gave me the thumbs up to buy the Virgin Mobile Victory. I currently started a phone fund here at the casa ($20.00 a payday is all I am allowed LOL). I currently have $19.15 in PayPal (just bought the domain vmobi.us for Team Vmobi so that set me back a little), and I have an $80.00 check coming from some side web work I did, so almost $120.00. If you feel like helping out this dev I would appreciate it :D I also have the Sprint Version of the phone thanks to a donation so I can work on both versions of this phone. However the Sprint and VM phones are miles apart.

Alright just ordered the Victory with next day delivery :) thanks for all the paypal donations, shaved $19.15 off the order. Should be here soon enough so I can start work w00t!! I can't wait!!!

Your wife is a keeper! :P Welcome to the Virgin Mobile Victory!

Ah well, its a good phone! I promise you won't be disappointed!

Based on a no service sprint version with a missing rear cover and smashed front I adore the phone. It runs really well and just overall a nice device to hold. My only complaint is the volume buttons are on the left side and not right side of the phone. A mere minor complaint if any at all

The phone is the best VM phone I've owned. My most previous phone was the Galaxy S2 and despite its great technical specs, the phone is not near as responsive as the Victory. I'll be keeping this phone for a while. It has so much development potential ;)

Yes it has the Potential for some great Development but the Interest isn't there. If anything most Devs (and people in general) are waiting for VM's next big jump in technological advancement so far its been

Intercept - First Android
Triumph - First Powerful Android
Evo V - First 4G phone

???? - whats next?

thats what i'm waiting for at least.............

I think you could add to that list:

Samsung Galaxy Victory - First LTE phone ;)

Well, he could. However sprints lte is in its infancy, along with the fact that the phone itself doesn't "wow" many people. Although I myself am content with it.

Well the fact it has NFC and LTE was a big push for me. I have no LTE or WiMax listed for New Mexico on Virgin Mobile's Map. However I get WiMax in Albuquerque. I assume the same will be true for LTE as I believe Sprint is rebuying from Verizon and lots of my friends have LTE.

Also currently Sprint has said they will be supporting the WiMax till 2015 so that gives all Evo V users a long time with the phone before they hop ship. The big push? I think we will find out next Wednesday, could be the google goggles integrated into the phone, or that the google goggles is going to replace the phone?!? Who knows what google has up their sleeve. Will have to wait and see....

Is it Friday yet??? Man my phone will be here tomorrow at 4:30pm!! Can't wait to start on it!

I wish it was Friday at 4:30. That would mean its almost the weekend ;) meaning days off!

I can agree with this. However, I will say that the phone is not too shabby.

It'd be a perfect upgrade from most of VM's Phones but not from any of the ones within close proximity like the Evo V, SII, or the Reverb (Reverb debateable)

I myself would try to upgrade if the Evo LTE (or Better?) if it came to VM

I can agree with the LTEvo. However, I needed a phone. I couldnt justify paying for the S2 at 329. I got this little bugger on sale for 199. Had the price tags been reversed, I might have gotten the S2. 3D was out of stock as well.
