Root [CDMA] [ROM] - Evo 3D CDMA - PAC [OFFICIAL]

hmm...i guess mine doesn't like the whole boot/shutdown of this rom, with the magical disappearing battery, now this (shutdown fine on earlier versions though)...runs great otherwise, lol

edit: hmm...here's another: astro file manager - first run, rom rebooted, second run, and every future run, app crashes when choosing sd card

Did you do a fresh install ?? or was this a dirty flash ??
 
Does AOKP Navigation Bar really work? I always knew I had it in this ROM, I just never played around with it. I tried last night, but I didn't see any changes in my phone. What actually does it do?
 
It's just onscreen navigation buttons (home, back, menu). I don't see a need for it with this phone since we have the capacitative buttons but some phones do not have that. Some phones have the navigation controls on screen.
 
Downloading torrents issue...
When screen off the torrent stops
Wi-Fi setting set to "always on"
Tried 3 different torrent clients
How do I set it so I can mass download?
EDIT...After Google search... All phones do this. Very dumb. No app to download so you can....download torrent/turn off screen/phone doesn't sleep?

Why don't you just set your screen to never sleep while you are downloading?

No one here has reported as of yet, and I only use the phone for Groove IP so I can't test for you, I am sure one of the boys will respond. ;)
 
I didn't flash cause it sounded like he's still working on it and will be updating soon. If there's an sms issue, I definitely won't be updating until that's fixed.
 
I just rooted and flashed PAC. Now I'm getting as -24 error when trying to install some things like candy crush and SMS recover

I have not had any play store issues. Did you flash the corresponding gapps along with the rom? Did you restore anything from your stock rom like app backups or system apps? Maybe try a full wipe and reflash of the rom and then gapps.
 
Sounds like you might of installed the improper Gapps version. Must be 4.2

Bummer... Wifi is borked in this version. Won't turn on. I had to restore. I guess I'll wait for the next one :(
