Root [GUIDE] Unbrick OR Unroot LG Motion 4G [KDZ]

I don't know what advantages there may be in the older firmwares, but my version f does great. 1.5GHz without root and can hotspot it without paying MetroPCS the extra $10 a month. The shop I took it to was gonna try to flash it with some update to prevent me from doing that, so I took it back and did it myself. I only took it to the shop cause my phone is also my home internet connection, but went to a McDonalds with an HTC with no service to download the kdz files and such. LOL

Update??? O.o version E blocks tethering, so they would be trying to downgrade if anything :p

My version f doesn't. Metro is pissed at us, but they cannot do anything about it. They keep sending us texts asking us to pay for the Mobile Hotspot. LOL. And that is before root. My girl and I have the same phone both have version f firmware. She won't let me root hers though. It gives us the notice at first that we have to go to a Metro store to get it turned on, but doesn't actually stop us from doing it. I used well over 100GB of data last month on the hotspot. I run both of my PC's off my phone. I also love how a call doesn't interrupt data. You can bypass that anyways with root access. I had a Samsung Intercept before with Bolt CM7 and it doesn't have Hotspot abilities, so I installed Barnacle wifi tether for root and had a hotspot
 
anybody know a fix for "error:more than one device or emulator" offhand first time i got this. something about a ghost emu i think but not sure how to fix it and searching didn't help much

Maybe more than one phone is connected or your using a HUB. Dont use a HUB.

yea i think msxml parser was installed for some software i installed ill try and uninstall that and mysql.
if that don't work i know the device id so i'll just try editing the batch file to connect to my device before all the other entries or just push all the files one at a time manually after connecting adb to my device id

HEADS UP: DONT UNINSTALL GOOGLE APPS ESPECIALLY GOOGLE BOOKS.
simply block them if you are annoyed by them. again thanks to everyone who made this possible

Don't forget about Metro Web. That alone will softbrick
 
I need help usually I can do this process but out of no where it went to bootloop after process was done so I tried factory setting it but when I hold the power button + vol. Down button it just starts to boot up and goes to the metro pcs bootloop any help?

All Info is in here. I know there is a lot of reading. Try holding the vol down and while holding that down, then press power and hold both till boot. I think that's what someone else said.

If you flashed firmware C, it's different to enter recovery...can't remember how to do it.

You may just have to run the Unbrick again. The same thing happened to me. Make sure to download from a torrent, the other download didn't work for me.

Also, if you messed something up that's not in "user space" a factory reset won't help.

I've tried that way when I soft-bricked. That's supposed to get it into Safe Mode, not recovery.
