LG has released a 4.1.2 kernel source code for the venice meaning you all will be getting an OTA update to 4.1.2 very soon. Enjoy

no, as long as your on stock rooted and havnt deleted or added anything to the system the ota will push through fine. You might lose root access during the update.

You got the ota update? Go to settings about phone and scroll down and screenshot the 4.1.2 os version and post it. A friend of mine with a site might release the news but needs proof.

That looks correct, btw you can capture a screenshot by pressing power button and down volume button at the sane time for about 1 second or by quick memo.

Your phone cant update without your permission. It asks you whether you would like to update now or later.

How did manage to you get 4.1.2 on your LG Venice? Was it a regular public OTA that showed up when you went Settings >About Phone > System updates?

Has anyone else gotten an official 4.1.2 JB on their Venice?

The update cam as OTA from boost mobile. I received a notification and updated.

In Settings there is a system update option that should do it I think.. Hope that helps.

I have the LG Venice from Boostmobile, still with ICS 4.0.2 firmware, and Ive been System Firmware Upgrade checking for 7 days but keep getting "no Firmware upgrade" message?? WTF Thanks Boost??
Do you know any website I can find JB 4.1.2 so I can manually Upgrade my Venice? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
