Thats fine but I know for a fact that FedEx will have the phone at my work by 10AM. I have ordered other phones like this in the past 3 months for my other phones on my account and they have been there by 10AM. No later!

You have fun waiting for your MIR to come back to you.

One more thing... Cause of where I work I get 25% off accessories anytime...

EDIT: I am in Ohio and I know where the warehouse is so I know I will get it that day at 10AM.

It's all good brotha, just havin fun with ya.

What he said and I also get 25% off accessories either online or in the store because of where I used to work. :D

I'm not sure what your account history is, but it seems like that (been a VZW customer since 1997 & always pay ontime), and the fact that I've had so many problems with my Storm had a lot to do with it. Feel free to PM me if you want more info.

I'm a new guy, first term, and have no loyalty to Verizon.

I came from a regional carrier (US Cellular) that has 5x better reception in this area. The "strength of the Verizon network" is something I would never brag about with my personal background. Weak, inconsistent reception, "phantom" missed calls, and texts delayed for hours. Plans are expensive. Honestly there's not much to be overly impressed with. I don't mean that all to be a bash on VZW (I'm not in a mega city area) moreso to say they are just OK for me. When I get bored I start exploring. So that makes me curious about Sprint. I guess in regards to VZW - you don't know what you have 'til it's gone maybe? The EVO looks better than the Incredible to me (I don't even care about 4G either) and Sprint plan pricing is good so I am seriously considering seeing if the grass might be greener.

The Incredible is a good phone, would keep me satisfied for awhile, and was VZW's chance to get their hooks into me for at least another year right NOW. Come summer anything is fair game again. It'll be fun to see how it all shakes out. (my GF is pre-ordering the Incredible so I'll get to play without paying! :))

So when we pre-order these phones do we get them shipped out before the 29th or does Verizon honor the free next day shipping ON the 29th which means we get them the 30th or are free to go into the nearest Verizon store and pick it up ON the 29th?

Pre-orders placed online before 4pm local time on 4/28 will be delivered 4/29

If you signed up for the e-mail notification it says in the fine print that all order placed before 4PM on 4-28 will receive the phone on the 29th.

Sprints EVO looks nice but it's just way too big for me. Just like the HD2. I don't have small hands like the guy on the burger king commercial but my phone needs to feel comfortable in my hand.

I guess it really does all come down to where you live and who you get best reception from in the area you are most in. but I can honestly tell you I moved from Florida with Verizon to California and never changed my plan and I got reception GREAT in both areas of the country... can you hear me now?

I don't get it. Whats the point of the pre-order?

Order it online the day before or go to our local bb store and pick it up. You are just locking yourself into a purchase before you have to for nothing.

You can always cancel a pre-order if it comes to that.

I believe there is a restocking fee if you return the during the 30 day return period. They want to recoup some of the cost to refurbish the phone.

there is no restocking fee if you just Return the phone beacause you didnt like it. They DO charge the restocking fee if you "switch" / "exchange" to another phone supposedly.

well. if you think verizon is bad with delayed texts..... wait till you try sprint.... try days... weeks even. My dad has sprint, sometimes voicemails and texts show up on his phone a few days late.. one time he got a voicemail about 2 weeks after it was left.. and sprint is "excellent" where he lives, according to their coverage map. LOL. if that's their 'excellent' service, i'd hate to see their 'good' and 'fair' coverage. oh and outside, on the roof, he barely gets one bar of service. and it's not the phone. he's been through many phones.. all the same.

Some people have been saying that they will ship the phones on the 28th overnight so that you would get the phone on release day.... otherwise ill be going to a local VZW store or BB to get mine

If you hardly ever travel and don't plan on moving I'd check out Sprint. For me, I get terrible coverage at my house, but everywhere else is great. I tavel back to middle-of-nowhere NY to visit family and Verizon is the only company that has coverage in the middle of PA (Rt 15).

Anyone wonder why more videos havent came out of the 99% confernce? i know there were people their showing off the incredible..... Engagdet dont fail me now!

Embargoed more than likely. Engadget, Noah Phone Dog, etc. have stated they can't release any reviews until tomorrow, so I am sure that the lack of information - even from the 99 conference - is probably related.
