***Official HTC Incredible Thread***

You can call and / or go online by what I know. I've done it on the phone, but I'm pretty sure online is an option to. It's called an ESN change, very simple thing you do in the Verizon system.
 
This may be old news or common knowledge here, but I've not seen it posted in this thread...

For those planning on renewing with a 2-year plan, it may be worthwhile to check out http://renewal.verizonwireless.com/ first to see if you are eligible for the free 1000 minutes.

I would believe that the order would be to re-up using the link above and then do your phone order, but probably better to call and confirm.
 
so will the preordering start right after midnight? or more along the lines or early morning ie. 6, 7, 8am... i know nobody prob knows for sure, but curious for your opinions

So, I don't think the Incredible's screen will get scratched at all. But yeah, those screen protectors are over-kill, in my opinion and they make the phone look silly. I disagree, I've had my dare for about a year and the screen is so scratched that about 1/4 of the screen is unreadable unless I'm in a dark room! There's no way I'm going to spend $200 on the Incredible and NOT buy a screen protector.
 
Well, I went to Best Buy and put my pre order in today. I leave for work at 6:45AM and get home after my apartment leasing office is closed, so pre ordering through Verizon was out the door. Going to BBY to pick up the phone opposed to dealing with the CSRs at a VZW was also more attractive.

As already mentioned, BBY will honor the NE2 discount, but it's not really the NE2 they're giving you. They simply have you log into your VZW account and will look at the price of the device, and ultimately whichever price is cheaper (VZW or BBY) is the price you pay at BBY.
 
Lurking for the past couple weeks, first time poster. I am currently in Alabama and I always feel like I am living 5 years behind the power curve when I am out. I saw that some had their local Verizon store's take their name down to hold an Incredible for them. No such luck here at two Verizon stores. One said flat out "no" and the other said they don't know if they will get any on time because their shipments come on Monday's. Off to the BB down the street and they had a few people ask if they could reserve it but....."we never got the paper work" very disappointing day. FED EX doesn't come until about 630pm where I live, and I don't want to wait that long on release day!!!

COMPLETELY AGREE! better safe than sorry in my opinion. accidents do happen...
 
So I am up for NE2 in July of this year.. got a long email back about my options for the annual upgrade, etc. yada yada yada and then.. this

so I just asked my girlfriend to marry me today! :) :) :) im so happy she said YES!!!!!!!!, but back to on topic my family said they would buy me this phone as an engagement present whoo!!!!! so happy!!!!! lol and before anyone asks why im on this thread and not home with my girlfriend is she had a meeting to go to! thank you in advance for your good wishes!!!

why not have them deliver it to work? That way you can get it...whether or not you open it until you get home is something completely different....

This was news to me. Anyone else have this happen? I thought it was coming on the 29th. I asked him if he was very sure, he said that he was positive.

Wellll, I don't really have once place where I work. I am in flight school and bounce around to about 3 different places a day on a military base. I think the nearest FED-EX shipping center is an hour and a half away!
