Headed to the airport to pick up Sailor Lin! Omg, on memorial day weekend! He is flying in his dress whites.. This is going to be amazing!
 
Morning kids! Sorry I missed the shenanigans last night - looks like quite a party. :)
Went for fondue last night. Had a great time. Then watched Django Unchained. It was pretty good, a bit slow at times though.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend so far!

U should get the "cash counter" widget from playstore mate to watch your money being earned. Great app description too :)

Interesting, but it probably wouldn't make much difference to me mate, I dont see much of it anyways :rolleyes:
 
Watched the first episode of the new season of Arrested Development (only on Netflix), awesome! :D
Can't believe Netflix threw the whole season on in one swoop!
 
What is it about mate? I have Netflix but its disgusting how the US gets far more choice (i can understand the reasoning behind the US getting more tv series on netflix but with movies.... we dont even have The Terminator lol) so i use a VPN to get the US version and i feel morally right to do so :) means i can watch Startrek Voyager :)

He's a strange one, he'l totaly fall asleep on your hand (obv cant close eyes lol) "he" is really boring in the 4',2',2' viv we keep them in, he only appears when thirsty or hungry.. acts exactly like a female snake should: hides, eats, doesnt waste energy, grows FAST :)

To be honest, that's what I've felt that the Verizon pre-release thread has become and why I haven't tried to really tighten the off-topic chatter in there, so a separate thread isn't necessary, IMO. And seeing how the VZW GS3 is the only one waiting for release, I don't think there's a reason to make a general thread (vs just VZW). I'm half tempted to lock this thread to keep it from being a second VZW pre-release discussion thread.

I'll leave it open, for now, to see if any discussion is developed for it. If the discussion goes towards just being VZW, I'll likely lock it or merge it with the VZW thread. If this thread turns out to be a discussion among all GS3 owners, then I'd be more than happy to leave it be or move it to the Lounge, to be with the other Watering Hole thread.

Lol it will get bigger. Its a Giant African Landsnail. Eats a stick of broccoli in like 20mins lol.
A friend had two of them and they had hundreds of eggs so i took two. when they hatched they were like half the size of a pea :) my (EVIL) ex dropped one and it died but Sheldon is thriving. He/she is really heavy and when u hold it, u can feel the teeth nibbling on you.
One of the coolest things is when it climbs the tank, you can see it from underneath and how they move, its like pulsating waves or ripples flowing from back to front of the body :)
(To get a sense of scale, the main tenticles are about 3.5cm/1.5")
