Help Google Navigation Voice

Are there any other free voices that can be downloaded as a replacement for for the Google Navigation voice ?

Well using google navigation quite often I cant understand the stock voice which is female. It doesnt always pronounce street names well. Also cant always hear it which is really probably my hearing and the poor speakers on warp. If I remember I turn on the equalizer app to increase volume.

What I am looking for is a replacement voice hopefully free that I can understand better

Well, I haven't tried it, but I remember reading that the Ivona Text to Speech app (there are many w/different voices) will do the trick.
