Is there any other way to get to the UK without flying on a plane from the United states?

You could walk if you are really dense and don't need to breathe or if you have Superman's freeze breath and aren't really dense.

Either way it depends on how you breathe or don't and your density.

You can fly to the U.K. on a plane from Mexico or Canada, etc.

Somewhere along the line, you have to cross water which means there's no avoiding a boat or a plane.

Either way, the quickest route would be across the Atlantic.

The route with the least time on a boat or in the air would (in theory) be from Alaska across the Bering Straights to Russia, overland across Russia and Europe, then a short hop across the channel.

Overland across Russia and Europe might be slightly easier said than done, though

You could try swimming there. Haha, in reality, your only options are boat, or plane. But remember, Titanic, boats sink. Oh and plans crash, enjoy the trip. :-)

The Trans-Siberia Express is still in service and one of the finest rail journeys in the world. :)

From what I can see on the website, the eastern-most destination of the Trans-Siberia Express is Beijing, China (?) rather than anywhere near the Bering Straights, so it would still be quite a long treck to get to it :D
