Another dead motion

Well, my replacement motion died today. I was going to do the unbrick this morning, so I plugged my phone in and started it in download mode, noticed it couldn't be found on my computer, so I tried restarting and replugging it, just stays black and the 3 lights at the bottom flash like my old one did. I must say I am pretty frustrated. All I'm going to say is, everyone beware. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

edit: after messing around with it a little bit, trying to get it to power on as much as I could, I was able to get it to the battery charging screen. It seems like the battery was dead even though it was fully charged before I fell asleep last night. It also didn't show any charging animation. So from there I went back to download mode and it worked surprisingly. Now, I'm trying the unbrick method again and hopefully everything works.

This is happening every where
I just sent a phone to lg for identical reasons
Except i couldnt get the battery to work on any of my phones

Yes it has. Luckily, I was able to get mine working again. I just kept messing around with it and eventually got to unbrick it. Wish it could of been that easy for my original motion.

I believe i have the same exact problem with mine at this very moment. How did you manage to get it do anything? I can't seem to get mine into "download" mode. How did you accomplish this? I noticed that with the battery out and connected to either the pc or the wall charger it will flash the soft keys once quickly. Also does this flash about once every 10 seconds when trying to get into recovery mode, emergency mode, etc. But with the battery in,..i get no response from the unit what so ever.

Any help is appreciated.

Plug your phone into your computer or into a PS3/DVR, any device with a USB port. AC power won't bring it up, DC power will for some reason.

Maybe I am misreading this, yet I am under the impression that you shouldnt even connect the phone until AFTER you see that it has successfully entered Download mode. Thats how I do it anyway. Battery in, holding down vol keys and power button should enter Download mode........then plug the phone into computer

His battery is dead, so it must be charged first. I've had this issue. I did what I posted above.
