Help Samsung Movie License Issues

Hello,

I've transferred some movies downloaded on samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1 to my galaxy ace 2 phone (via micro sd) and on the phone i get a message saying the license couldnt be found (or something).

I cant get the movie hub app thingy on my phone (as far as i can tell). Any ideas?

Thank you,
Chris

welcome to AF!!!!!!!!!

i moved you to the galaxy ace 2 forums where folks here can help you better.

how did you download the movies? did you use an app? what file format are the movies in?

If you've used the Samsung Movie Hub app then chances are it's infested with DRM and you would have to use the Movie Hub app to download the movie to another device and can't just transfer the file. Or it may not allow you to download movies to multiple devices.

Movie Hub after looking is not available on the Ace 2 and is likely unique to tablets as people generally wouldn't watch movies on a phone. My recommendation? Don't use any of the samsung apps. Use something like Netflix or an app in the Google Play store or even better, just download movies to your PC and transfer them from there.
