Is this true, the problem is that everyone's order status says "Your order is awaiting approval or phone availablity". So you have no idea where you are in line, that is if there is a line.

If that's true, then it shouldn't be telling you when you place your order that you will receive your phone on the 29th. I would be P!$$3D! Wouldn't hesitate to cancel. And if I don't get my shipping email on the 28th, that's exactly what I'll do. I'll have a "dr's appointment" before I go into work. I got a fever, and the only prescription is...more INCREDIBLE! :D

No dots on my Eris. No dots on my iPhone. Dots on my Palm 755p. Dots on my Touch Pro 2. Likely no dots on Incredible as those dots are usually only seen on stylus-equipped phones with resistive touch screens not capacitive touch screens.

anyone have any experience with getting fedex to not deliver and let you pick up? I've had no problems picking things up at fedex after like 5pm when fedex was unable to get a signature, but I would like to call them that morning and tell them not to deliver it and just go pick it up on my way to work!

Good morning! When you're about to check out for the phone the shipping gives u a scroll down option for several shipping options. When I first did it i put in the promotion code for free shipping before 3pm, I then changed my mind(my in patience) to overnight priority. I had to start all over because it wouldnt show the shipping options anymore. I had to clear my browsing history and cookies to get it back.
 
I just have to say that even though the new supposed iPhone looks pretty darn ugly and dated, apple fanboys still are praising it!!! it looks soo old...

Now the one thing i dont like about the incredibile is the design. I never did really, and i thought they were going to add a little flare to it.But apple fanboys kill me. Ill admit to the Incredible's lackluster design...but an apple fan wont!!

Just ranting.

I just called to complain about my Storm2 randomly shuttung down on me(7 times on Friday alone):mad:. I said I had had it with this phone and the nice guy on the other end let me upgrade to my NE2 which I am not elgible for until Sept 2010. So I did my pre-order for the Incredible and got it for $99.99.

Can't wait!:D

2) The leak occurs right as momentum swells for pre-orders and general buzz for the HTC Droid Incredible

Normally folks who just post PICS of unannounced devices get C&D's, let alone a large tech blog who has physical possession of a lost device that they shouldn't..... Unless of course Apple PURPOSEFULLY gave them a prototype and had Gizmodo fabricate a cover story to generate massive buzz to kill Droid momentum.

Paranoid? Mehaps, but i find the circumstances suspicious and the timing even more so.

Paranoid? Paranoid of what? That the Incredible won't outsell the iPhone? Do you really care? A new iPhone doesn't mean the Incredible is not a beast of a phone. Even if Gizmodo had announced the iPhone would be on Verizon, I would still be buying an Incredible on the 29th.

Might feel sorry for HTC, but I'll be perfectly happy with my Incredible.

Yes, it was supposedly found in a bar and then sent to Gizmodo.

Or they could be lying their asses off and its a cover story for a device handed to them by Apple.

I find it very odd that Gizmodo hasn't reporting anything specific as far as screen size, processor type/speed or flash memory capacity. NDA from Apple and they're allowed to report general info and pics only?

In-processYour order is currently being fulfilled and cannot be canceled or changed.
I can't even order the phone but I ordered a screen protector for it.

I posted a link a few days ago. Long story short right now Google has a hard time right now getting android to work with a 32gb microsd. Can't format,, bla bla bla.. google it. its there. Working on a fix.

They can't get the phone to turn on.
 
Can someone tell me what does the extended warranty cover vs asurion?

I know the insurance covers lost phones and has a deductible, but what is the extended warranty?

They also dissected the phone.

How hard is it to measure a screen diagonally?

It should be readily apparent if its the ipad's A4 SOC cpu vs the 3GS's A3

If they can access the mainboard, they should be able to see the number/capacity of the flash memory chips

My experience was that I requested this but Fedex would not guarantee it would happen. I had to go there not knowing if they kept at distribution or not, it turns out they did so worked for me.

Android just cannot format it, but it can use it. You can use your computer, camera or whatever else you have that can format it and then use it in your device.

there MAY be some wiggle room there... when I pull up the phone in my verizon it states it's compatible with my plan. doubtful, but maybe if i bring this up as misleading, they'll let me keep it and just add the data plan. it IS, after all, misleading for the site itself to say the phone IS compatible with my plan and then not allow me to keep it.

One other thing the CSR told me this morning was that she'd contact me on either the 23rd or the 30th to get my plan changed back to a Family plan, so now that I think about it, I assume that means we won't get order confirmations (i.e. updates to our online statuses) until Thursday or Friday. Hopefully, the 30th date was given because she expects me the phone in my hands by then.
 
They just happen to write a review on it the same day as the Incredible.
If they had it a week like some are saying why not write the review then and not wait for the Incredible Review and try to steal some thunder.

Looking out for all of the fellow Storm 1 users - did any of you know that they sent out flyers last year when the Storm 2 came out with an early upgrade offer for a "select few" customers stuck with the Storm 1? Got skipped over on that one... wish they would give all of us a further discount for this phone (like that would ever happen), but I digress...

One question I have regarding syncing contacts - obviously Blackberry devices on VZW (except for Storm 2 and Tour) do not have the backup assistant capability. I downloaded the google sync tool knowing that gmail contacts will be my main source on the DI. Now, when I did this, all of my contacts are duplicated on my phone with my corporate account and my gmail account.

Just wondering if the same will happen with multiple accounts on the DI using the ActiveSync Exhange option? Since this is new, I am certain this question most likely will not be able to be answered, just wanted to throw it out there and see if there are any thoughts...
