I was just told when calling customer service is that a pre-order works in that it puts you in line by when you ordered. And depending on how many they have in stock is if you will get it right away or not.
Is this true, the problem is that everyone's order status says "Your order is awaiting approval or phone availablity". So you have no idea where you are in line, that is if there is a line.
If that's true, then it shouldn't be telling you when you place your order that you will receive your phone on the 29th. I would be P!$$3D! Wouldn't hesitate to cancel. And if I don't get my shipping email on the 28th, that's exactly what I'll do. I'll have a "dr's appointment" before I go into work. I got a fever, and the only prescription is...more INCREDIBLE!


. I said I had had it with this phone and the nice guy on the other end let me upgrade to my NE2 which I am not elgible for until Sept 2010. So I did my pre-order for the Incredible and got it for $99.99.
