Normally I do 1 year contracts so I can can upgrade phones every year but that $99 price is tempting.

Anyone know for sure what the pricing policy is for early phone upgrades when you are 1 year into a two year contract? I know they let you upgrade phones every year but I'm not sure how the price normally is. Is it the 1 year contract price point? So basically, every year you get a new phone at 1 year contract price and just keep renewing your 2 year contract?

Hey guys, I can TOTALLY understand wanting to discuss this iPhone story, but by doing so we're adding more fuel to the fire and we're just promoting Apple and it's devices through the Android Forums. I think we've discussed it enough. Let's move on to the Incredible and just talk about this phone. There are all kinds of forums for Apple devices. Let's let those people talk about that phone. Not to mention the Incredible is better in pretty much every way compared to the next iPhone. Period.

Annual Upgrade (upgrading 12 months into a NE2) gets you the 2-year contract promo-price ($199 online or after MIR rebates) and a new 2-year contract/NE2 window.

You don't get the extra $50 off that you would with the NE2.

Also, this has been posted numerous times before in this thread.

Apologies. I brought it up because I thought it was another underhanded move by Apple to smack Google/HTC/Android

i agree also notice this has a silver trim on the outer sides.? i belive the Droid INC. does not have that trim does it not ?

I have the corporate account - I ordered last night about 11:00 PM EDT and have not seen any change in my service... I am certain that it doesn't change until you activate the new phone. :)
 
Use "freeovernt" as the promocode on the verizon website and it will give you free overnight priority. Enjoy everyone! I paid $99 for my phone and saved $18/month on my plan. It's a great day.

That's strange. I downloaded google sync as well, and I didn't get any duplication. You can check your gmail account and go to contacts on the left side to manage what was synced with your phone. It is easier to manage it on your computer, and I think once you finish, if you sync again it should make those changes on your Storm. Try it.

Frankly I find nothing wrong with noting, comparing, and discussing the biggest competitor this phone has. After all the useless chat this thread had/has in it at least it is relevant to cell phones.
 
For those fortunate enough to have ordered THE PHONE Incredible at a 1year price for 229, well its no longer that price its gone up to 269 for a one year price. I did 1 yr price since it only adds 30 dollars to the cost of the phone. FYI if you people are renewing your contracts they're giving out 500 extra minutes for 12 months in case of going over your minutes but I would recommend that you go to a corporate store and they will give you 1000 minutes for 12 months instead all you have to do is agree that you'll extend your contract which most of us are already doing it.

You need a voice plan above a certain amount. My $39.99 450 minute plan does not fall into that category.

it did this to me but the rep said it was because it's a pre-order and my unlimited texts should roll right over when i get the incredible

so you still gonna get some hands on time with the incredible? I have the $$$ to preorder, just want to see what your thoughts are on the phone before I take the plunge. even though I am 99.99999% sure I will order it anyway :)

When I preordered they charged my $50/each to hold the 2 phones but didn't charge me anything else. The $100 went on a gift card I could use towards the phone. I'm fairly certain the rebate will be taken off the price and not given as a gift card. When I asked about the free activation they said they would still charge the activation fee but take the same amount off the phone price so I wouldn't see why they would do anything different.
 
Okay, now we just need like 50 posts of people saying that there phones are shipping and they have tracking numbers. I pre-ordered this morning, hope it comes sooner than the 29th !!!
