What's Next for GNX Owners?

The newest flagship device is always going to have better specs than one released earlier.

Have you looked into the s4 or HTC one Google edition? Sounds like it may be right up your alley

We should be getting a new nexus this fall if you can hold out

I have a usb/charging issue. I purchased the new part and watched the video on youtube on how to replace it. But I am waiting for another guy on this forum to replace his and see how successful he is. I would even pay to have my phone fixed, but according to Samsung, my phone was made to sell in Brazil and I have to go to Samsung Brazil to get it fixed. No thanks.

As the "another guy" I can say that my work was successful, but the repair didn't fix my main problem. That said my problem was different. Mine would charge, just it would report as USB charging about 35% of the time. I always have to check when I plug my phone in, and its annoying. When it says USB I have to unplug and plug it back in to get AC charging.

I will say that my USB port was very loose, and is now tight and the cord 'snaps' in to place. Also the repair was very simple, and would take me < 10 minutes to do it again.

Mine fits in nice and tight, just won't charge if the phone is on. I had to run down to Florida for a few days so I held off messing with my phone as I need it to tether. I have a extra battery and a stand alone charger. I will get to it this weekend. I hope it solves my problem

Even if it doesn't the part is cheap enough and easy enough to replace that its worth it.... because it probably would've broken soon anyway!

I'm also looking at an upgrade soon, I've had my GNex since day one on Verizon.

Odds of Verizon getting another Nexus are slim to none.

With that said, i'm more then likely going to get the Galaxy Note 3. My buddy has the Note 2 and i'm extremely jealous. Plus the battery life blows the GNex out of the water.

Yeah I want to get the Note 3 as well. After playing with the Note 2, I want that huge screen lol. I'm also interested to see what this Moto X will be all about and the next Nexus(hopefully not LG). Until then, I'm very satisfied with my Galaxy Nexus. I love this phone.
