That is true. But you can have caller announcement turned on in Google Voice so while incoming caller ID would show your Google Voice number and not the caller's number you could still figure out who it is by announcement.

Ah, interesting. This will be my first Android phone, so I don't know all of the features of the app. Luckily I have a nationwide plan anyways. :)

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone had contacted Case Mate to inquire about phone cases? (If this should be moved just tell me!) Because I was hoping they'd make a case with a credit card holder like they have for the iPhone, because those cases are pretty sweet.:cool:

Perhaps you can do the line drawing test to see if the lines are straighter that what can be drawn on the N1.
 
I got my Droid around the 5th, and it's good and all, but I'm really excited the Incredible came out before my 30 day return policy thing. Do you guys know what my next move is? Do I order the Incredible online and then go to VZW? Or do I take my Droid back today and ask them to put an order in and pay my 35 dollars at the same time? I know I have to return the Droid, but they cost the same price so don't I just have to redirect what I payed for the Droid to the Incredible and end up only paying for the 35 dollar return fee? Thanks guys
 
Ok, so my Best Buy Question has been answered...Here's my last issue before the 29th? Anybody know where I can buy accesories (Just a Case and a screen protector) I asked the guy at Best buy and he mentioned the 28th, but then he said mid May...Not sure if he knew what he was talking about...Verizon store said they were out of stock of the cases (Were they ever in stock?) Any ideas?

That sucks! A lot of people got them to move their NE2s to 4/19. Don't know why they moved you to 4/29 but not 4/19. Did you tell them you wanted to pre-order?

Verizon will have cases and some other accessories when the phone launches in store on the 29th, just take a trip to a store....
 
I am sure this is totally the wrong place for this so I apologize ahead of time. I am looking for a GPS app that will track the trails I take while mountain biking, allow me to record it so the next time I can use the saved route?

you won't have to do any ordering. if you bought your droid at verizon then just take it back on the 29th and swap it for an incredible. thats what i'm doing. if you ordered the droid online then you will have to it online.

I bought a case from verizon when I pre-ordered this morning. I just did a search on "droid incredible" and all the accessories came up for sale.

I just spoke with a VZ rep on the phone -- she explained the "new every 2" price gives you the $100 discount. Additionally, if you're upgrading the primary line, you get an extra $50 off.

This is why some people are getting the $149 price total.

Call Verizon directly, check the status of your NE2. Ask if they can push the date up!

Thanks Crimton. I'm just so anxious to get this phone, I'm wondering if I should wait til the 29th, or go in and have them order it and it get here in 4 to 5 days (unless they only mail them on the 29th).
