Galaxy S3 Watering Hole

Yeah Gmail is missin from the Gapps package i use.
I hadnt realised certain roms need their own version of gapps, ill have to look out for that. Im very new to aosp/aokp. Thanx pal :beer:
 
I don't swap between too many ROMs. In the past 4 months, it's basically been either AOKP or ParanoidAndroid. The latter contains their own Gapps while AOKP updates whenever possible. For the most part, Gapps can be updated through the Play Store if need be, but it's always best to see whether you're up to date. Goo Manager is a good place to look for that as well.
 
Yeah im not usualy one for changing roms a lot. When i find something i like, i stick with it. Its only recently i switched from using samsung-based roms though so i had to try a few to get the right one for me. Ill probably either stick with this AOKP mr1 or give Paranoid a try :)

Eh, K'lin isn't here, so I think we're cool. ;)
When I had my OG Droid I was constantly changing out ROMs for fun and experimenting. With my Gnex, it's more just find something that work for what I need and be content. I'll update occasionally, or change out for something else, but it's definitely not happening at the pace it was in the past. :)
 
Lol yeah, i think it maybe becomes a bit addictive, especially if youre on a low end phone and any performance tweak you can get is worth flashing for but once youre on a mid/high-end device it isnt really so necessary
 
Got my first taste of LTE here in Tampa. Man, its nice. ;)
