Most root apps are always on the market, unless Google decides to remove them. But the first root app that I would install is Titanium backup to back up phone and settings, but Ad-bloc plus has been removed and is available from their website. Plus here and XDA are great places to here about root apps

thanks for answering but i know about the basics (titanium backup etc.)
just want to know about the best place to look(like a list of root and non market apps)

and any devs that are tginking of making an app but havnt gor any ideas heres one:
make an app store(yes there is loads but not like im thinking) that has root apps and non market apps i know a few people who would be willing to pay for that because as far as i know there isnt anything similar out there and it would be great to be able to find non market apps without constant google searches that turn up a load of crap
i would be willing to help in anyway i can (not a clue about programming but i could help try getting a list of(root and non market )apps to put in the app store (or even better if someone can point me to a tutorial for amking apps (using my phone mainly my pc is old junk)

What exactly is a "non-market app"? Most developers want their apps to be seen by other users, so Google Play, Amazon Marketplace etc are the logical places to distribute them.
