Root [WIP]MIUIv4 Port.[ROM]

Hey maybe when you get the new Motion you can do the modemst backup and restore it onto your old phone. Maybe that would fix it, and since you own both devices you got nothing to lose
 
I also thought you were a girl cause i remember trying to look for a thread you started and one of your photos that appeared on the right side of the profile was a girl

First time it happens you'll have to talk to metro and get it reset, if it happens again you have big problems.

Well Demon, currently it is unknown if those partition are phone specific so perhaps if do the modem backup and thr open up the files and see how if they contains anything that's phone specific. Its what id try to do.
 
Can someone post a link for the updated versions of these two new roms? That would really make me happy and i may not smash this phone into a milliion pieces and may stick with metro instead of going back to just sending telegrams.!! Thank you
 
Alright lets not derail this thread with trying to figure the gender of TheDemon, lets just focus on the rom and any issues that anyone has

Thought about that. Never actually tried.
Replacing the Mms.apk in the Paranoid port with PG's mms.apk fixes mms.

So I see why not. :p
 
Wait just realized something. I never got the chance to fix sms on this rom...
So what you're doing is pointless cx

The reason why sms/mms isn't working has to do with something completely different than just a simple mms.apk change.

The mms.apk replace on the Paranoid android rom I ported only worked because I fixed sms first.

It's not that easy. The problem is in the classes.dex in the framework.jar
I wouldn't even bother unless you know what you're doing.

I would love to try aside from the fact I can't afford to mess up my phone right now, cuz I would love to help move along the progress of this rom.
