Quick note.....does anyone not have their Android market updated to Google play 4.0 and does anyone not have the dcsms toggles app in their app drawer cuz my android market has not updated yet and I don't have the OMG dcsms app in my app drawer.........does anyone else have this problem???

Yup My Market would not update or show most of my apps. I have multiple problems the most annoying being the statusbar force closing upon boot using the MIUI theme. I tried it again without removing any apps although I don't see what harm removing stock browser or email would do but still the staturbar crashes. I also have alotta sound and display settings force closes.
 
My market wouldn't update either, I downloaded the newest version 4.1.6, but it wouldn't install. I just grabbed it, moved it into /system/app and rebooted and it worked immediately. Otherwise I've been on this all day with no fcs or anything, so far I like it!
 
Well I have the OMG Dcsms toggles app missing and my market not updating that's about it for me everything else so far so good, hmmm maybe these problems will be addressed soon when Chev hears about them after his beauty sleep lol

the dcsms should appear after you install the miui theme. Not sure whats up with the market not uploading, in the next update i'll update it manually.

For those looking for google play 4.1.6, this one worked for me. I grabbed one from a different source, and renamed it, but it wouldn't paste into /system/app. This one I downloaded and DID NOT rename, and it pasted in just fine, then rebooted and it updated. Thanks for the heads up galarue.

Same here. Although I haven't installed miui yet, and apparently that's where the toogles come in. I may give that a try just to see what it's like.

But I also have not received the play store update yet.
 
Would it make a difference if I flash kernel H426oc cuz hyper kernel v3 is cooking the heck out of my backcover I already tried switching I/O schedulers and all that but I see no difference
 
Welp, my Play icon doesn't update but the actual Play store is showing the new one when I open it. That's cool with me. Everything else seems to be working Ok. Oh, I'm running Touchwiz. I haven't tried MIUI yet. :D

Damn, my market just FCed twice. I'm gonna try the Play store download and see if that will fix it.
 
Another problem I just encountered is that when I listen to a song and finish it and choose another song, the volume goes up to the Max and its getting annoying to keep putting it Down whenever I select another song, just wanted to point that out

Try another media player.
 
Chev can you fix the link so the update can be downloaded from my phone please, don't have a PC and I tried ota update and it wouldn't download
 
Having problems with Google play services. Says somthing about it not being able to be installed due to an application sharing the same name
 
Not sure. YouTube app says I need Google play services so I go to market to get it and when it tries to install gives me an error about an application sharing the same name or somthing
