Anyone else had the new gmail yet? Play store is still saying I have the most up to date version, but 4.5 was released a few days ago.

Believe it is slowly making its way around, but didnt think it was "officially" released yet. I am running it now for a couple of days and seems pretty good. If you go into the Note 2 section there is a thread on it with a link to the download.

Just checked and I have 4.1 and even after uninstalling updates, I still don't get anything more recent as an update option ..

Yeah, mine updated this morning, liking the new look too.
1. So anyone know what determines the color of a contact's letter tile (that appears when there's no pic saved for the contact)? It seems to be completely random.
2. Bug still remains that contacts pictures don't appear if the contact's email address in your contacts has characters in a different case to what was sent in an incoming email. You'd think Google of all people would know email addresses are not supposed to be case sensitive :-(

Not sure if anyone noticed, you can multi select e-mails by long pressing one and select each after

it does not. But you can set it to show either or both.
