Has anyone that has owned the s2 jumped ship to this device? I'm looking for opinions. I currently have the s2 but I'm debating moving to the victory, mainly because when i upgrade my phone to jb I started experiencing issues. I don't have lte in my area, but Wi-max is available about five minutes from many home and that's the only place.

Thanks

I'll probably pick up the s3 when it goes on sale. The victory is on sale at radioshack where I just purchased the s2.I'm debating if it's worth an exchange from my current device. Thanks for the reply, my brother has the s3 and loves it.

It's up to how long you want to wait. The S3 will more than likely be at least $350 to $400. It's also a bummer because the S3 for Virgin is a dual core processor vs the S3 for other carriers is a quad core. It will be LTE which will be nice, but that is way above what i'm willing to pay for a cell phone. Not to mention you'd be waiting a good year for that price to drop on such a new and in demand product. The S3 is no doubt better than the Victory in most ways, but for me the price isn't justified for my uses.

Especially for how marginal improvements would be, excluding storage space and the screen, over the Victory. I'm not sure why they even call it an S3, to be honest.

When comparing the Victory to the S2, the Victory wins in my opinion despite the obvious superior specs that the S2 has.

I have owned both phones and I find the Victory to be MUCH more responsive and less buggy than the S2 even though it has a smaller screen and smaller resolution camera.

When comparing these two phones to the S3, I do agree with dibblebill there is not much improvement to justify shelling out another 400 dollars (or maybe less if it's on sale). The S3 and the Victory both have LTE so that's a plus.

Also, on one knows for sure if the S3 for Virgin Mobile will be buggy like the S2. I did like the S2, but the phone lagged quite a bit even immediately after unboxing and before installing any apps. The phone was slow to return from sleep..

So as of right now I think that the Victory is the best phone for Virgin Mobile with all things considered including cost and spec comparisons.. that is until the S3 can be evaluated performance wise.

I am interested in a larger screen since I watch Netflix quite often on the phone but I think I may wait a bit for the price to come down on the S3 before I jump on board.

My victory with the redspot kernel just pulled 11669 on Antutu.

The s2 is inferior in all but screen size.

Thanks for the opinions. I'm heavily debating going with the victory. I prefer the screen size of the s2 but with the issues I'm having I'm ready to run out over with my truck...
