Random Thought Thread

Glad I'm finally going home. Drove through Louisiana, Mississippi, and more Texas for a vacation. Can't wait to be stationary again. Just want my bed, my shower, and my home.

Ever see a random person pass u in the street and your eyes make contact and you imagine you can see inside their brain and them yours and share the random thought youre both having? :)

Lmao i just scratched my back and got the fright of ma life coz i felt a huge fat hair but it stuck to my finger and its one of our cat's whiskers... big fat white thing... i had The Fly flashbacks for a second..

Cool. i really love bears in a respectfully fearful kinda way lol, theyre like big powerful solitary dogs :)

This is gona sound a bit weird but is anyone here interested in canals? The big ones?
I had one of my lost hours looking around on Google Earth earlier and looking around the middle east and then into africa i stumbled across the Suez Canal and zoomed right in and followed its course and it blew my mind how amazing a thing it is. Then that made me look at the Panama Canal and i did the same with it. Im such a lover of nature but seeing what humans have managed to achieve is equally awesome to me.
Anyone know any other canals or dams i can look at on Earth?

I love my new grill... :D

I love my new grill... :D

I love your new grille, too. :D

Only problem I see with it is, it's gas. I'd pull the gas components out, or not install them when I bought it. I have a Weber, it's a few years old now, but I've never used the gas components. They're in a corner of the garage somewhere, waiting to be converted into a flamethrower or something. :p

I'm a charcoal and wood kinda griller. This little contraption changed my whole grillin world:

I have coals ready in about 10 minutes, and I'm cooking immediately. Most awesome part is, theres no lighter fluid needed! ;)

I love charcoal, I really do, but I work crazy hours and don't have the energy to put into charcoal. I have a little and a big Weber charcoal grill as well, but this thing was bought for it's longevity and ease of use. My father raised me on charcoal cooked, smoked and roasted meats and vegetables. I kinda feel like I'm a traitor, but man this new grill is awesome!!!

Yeah, once in a while I wish I could throw a steak on and sear it in a few minutes and just devour. With charcoal it's atleast 15-20 minutes befor I can eat. :o

I know where you're comming from with the hours. Our professions are along the same path. :)
