yea sometimes it does get alil slow but the hd videos look real damm good lol :)

PG is 100% correct.

Our displays are 960x540 which is qHD. This stands for Quarter HD. True HD is 1920x1080. In other words, our displays are not that great, but look pretty good. lol

I still love my phone though. :D

I'm pretty sure that they know it's not hd but what they probably saying is with that app it shows better without flipping the screen and turning on hq

hopefully, tho I had a few Motion owners claiming they were watching HD on their motion's. I had to say umm nope, impossible to watch HD on a display thats not even close to HD. lol

what the app does is cleans up the video. its running the HD youtube video, of course its not actually full had on our screens. The video looks awesome on my Tablet. So the modded app does work.

the mod lets the YouTube app. play HD videos that are normally only on the YouTube website. You have to go into the advance settings and set it for HD playback. If you use this app with the right settings, and then uninstall it and go back to the original YouTube app. You'll see a big difference.

its a major diffrence between regular youtube and the hack vesion the quality is way bette enable the 1080p option in advance settings then go to the app i type 1080p hd videos and watch one youll see it really looks HD

Android users like the word Modded. not hacked lol:p

Yeah its going to look better if it was recorded in hd than a picture not recorded in hd. I'm not saying you not noticing a difference but I didn't and I tried the same video on both of the apps and they look the same when I turn hq on the original app. When you go the page it says if your phone is compatible with 1080p or 720p for the app to make a difference on your phone, unless I'm not doing something right

it makes a big difference. the HQ on the stock app is a bit grainy compared to the modded HD ones. are you going into the advanced settings and checking HD playback,3g/4g HD playback and 1080p playback? hope you don't think i think you are stupid, just some people seem to not relies they have to set those and restart the app.

So you notice a difference because I'm still trying to see what's different between them. I did that in advance settings but to each it's own I'm not knocking the fact that it work I'm just not noticing it that's all

sorry I meant between hacked and modded. ;)

Uninstalled and backed up the one that came with the phone in Titanium Backup, then installed the modded one and enabled the HD in advance settings, and honestly I'm not noticing any difference, other the fact that it takes forever to play a vid(which only plays 16 seconds then stops constantly on a 4min video) even on wifi... Am I missing something here?

did u restart the app if not do that,

I still say that people who can't see a difference need new glasses or need to clean the finger smudges off the screen

i think ik why they not. seeing it they prolly need to go to the regulatlr settings n uncheck high quality on mobile then gi to the advance settings and check da HD options then restart

Yes I restarted the app 3times n its still slow as hell. I noticed a difference when I put the stock youtube back on, but if it takes literally 15-20 mins to watch a 4 min video over wifi on the modded app, then ill just stick to the stock
