How does one receive a google voice invitation? I've entered my information at the website and they say they will contact me. Its been about 1 month now. Is this similar to the whole GMAIL thing where they invite you and then you get a few invites to give to your friends, etc?

Its by invitation, so you can request one from google and if they choose they will give you one, or if you know someone that has it then can invite you (limited #) or you can buy an invite on ebay....

SSSOOOOO, the whole mandatory signature thing is somewhat ambiguous!! They may need a signature, but it seems that they don't always care who signs it, or where they are at the time!

This is also true. If you have a close neighbor and aren't home, we can ask them to sign if they would like. Most of the time they don't, but if they are good friends they'll sign and give it to them.

The weight is 2 pounds. I dont think screen protectors are 2 pounds...
 
Less than 10 days until I say goodbye to the Samsung Eternity and hello to the Incredible! It will then be headed with me to Vegas that weekend:D

As I've stated multiple times, I did NOT order ANY accessories. I ONLY ordered the phone today. The Check Your Status only works for online orders. I didn't use the online system, I called the telephone sales department today to ensure my current Alltel plan wasn't modified.

Sorry don't take this as me being rude, just want to make sure the point is clear to others about accessories :D
 
you got me all excited about all the email notifications i'm getting on my BB just to see if it is the same news you got to be able to replace my POS even earlier
 
When I bought an Incredible yesterday there were only 40 accessories listed and when I bought one today there were 45. It appeared that 3 of the new additions were some added hard cases but I didn't notice what the other 2 additions were. If they continue adding accessories each day and if you would like to order accessories it might be best to wait until closer to the 28th to have the best selection.

All returns then you send back through FedEx get shipped to Fort Worth TX. Zip code 76000. Can you tell how many times I process these yet? lol

As flexible as our jobs. If you sign for a signature or say you have a note and can't produce, you're going to be looking for a new job. At least at FedEx. People do it, but if you get caught it's trouble. Falsifying information.

41,000+ posts in this thread, when I get home, I start on the last page.
I have ordered over the phone before, I was still given an order number that can be used on the website to check order status. It saves them phone calls.
If you didn't order any accessories, I hope you're right and you get the phone early. I'll be calling Verizon and pitching a fit about it until they ship mine early!
 
Someone soon will have the last post in the thread (other than the admin) then it's off to post about how to use it instead.
 
I understand there's a really good chance this was posted in the past 24 hours and is mixed with all the preorder/shipping messages and if so I apologize.

But THIS article is pretty interesting and gives a pretty good review of the touch sensor used on the Incredible and upcoming Evo. Explains why we won't be experiencing the Multi-Touch problems the N1 has.

Once again sorry of it's already been posted.

Just post a request for an invite on any other forum you participate in, and you should probably get one. Here, most everyone's extra invites have already been used up.

I tried ordering over the phone today, they wouldnt let me, she said online only.

not sure if that's what you were implying, but just clarifying for those who didnt know.
 
said it before but i bet people who got e-mail conformations from vzw will get there screen protectors and what not for the incredible. those are not available for pre order, and are for sale on vzw website so it makes sense that that's what it would be. would be awesome if i'm wrong but i think that's what the e mail confirmation is for. we'll find out tomorrow.

This pleases me. I was thinking it was something more than just a software change and I guess I assumed right. Glad to see we won't be having any multitouch issues with this thing.

Now all we need to worry about is when it'll get rooted. :p
