Root Touch screen issue

So latest PacRom. S-off. Used an MMS fix. And about a week later I realize the bottom of my screen isn't working properly. If I hit the spacebar or anything around it all the way to the sides of the screen it actually shows that I touched about an 1/8th of an inch above that. So any touch screen calibration mods?

this is the PIE control causing this issue. Disable it under settings, And your screen will work like normal.

If its not the rom and you roll back to other roms or even stock and you still have this problem. Then its a screen problem you need you a new digitizer which is like $15. But i changed mine and damaged my LCD trying to remove it. What i recommend is if your out of warranty (1 year i think) just replace the entire LCD+Frame with a new one and your problem will go away. You can get a OEM new LCD+frame for like $50

Otherwise, call VM and get a free replacement:

edit: Go to developer option and turn on the option that shows your touches.

Now when the screen starts acting up look on your screen and see if you have any GHOST spots touching the screen. When my acted up i always had dots @ the top of my screen while i was pressing somewhere else. This was because my digitizer was going bad. I also heard of one part of the screen not working right and that also is the digitizer.

Oh the screen works fine everywhere else and worked fine on BluROM. I believe I just need to find a way to calibrate the touch screen. I could do that on my old tablet that ran Android 1.6 haha!
