Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] [ROM][4.2.2] Illusion v2.1 - 7|16|13

The only issue I have is when it comes to data usage. Google Play Music seems to be using way too much background data. It's showing that I have used over 100mb of data from listening to 1 song. Cm10.1, Metropolis and Stock are the only ROMs I have personally used that do not have this issue for me. Other than that I really love this ROM. Everything else seems to be working great without issue.

Delete it. It's crap anyways;) Lolz

has anyone tried a clean flash of v2 but restore data from your beta1 backup(if you made one). I just had SOOO many apps installed and i dont wanna lose my progress in some games

EDIT:......it doesn't work , almost everything FC's and a bunch of process stop, SO don't try to resotre data from beta1

Just save all your games on rom toolbox app & data. I do it everytime I wannna try out a new rom. But only if you stay in aosp. If you try to restore an app saved from 4.1 on 4.2 it won't work. I tried it too many times. But I stay on 4.2, & if you do also just backup all the apps you wanna keep & restore them

Is there a mod or something to have the mms stop compression what I send ?

I haven't seen one. BUT, I do know that liquidsmooth v2.7 does not compress my mms. I have sent a full 8mp pic with no compressing. That's the main reason I'm staying liquid for a while

Gps not working for me anyone else having this problem? When i try to use navigation it says searching for gps

Love the rom, love halo..Bluetooth on aosp still sucks. Sometimes it'll turn on and off, sometimes stuck in limbo and needs a restart. I remember why I was on metropolis forever.

Only issue I have is the lagging when I scroll on my twitter feed. I use twicca for twitter, could it be the rom or the app? ....but then again, on a touchwiz rom, it scrolls smoothly.

Just my opinion but I think version 2 was a step backwards. I am not sure what the devs issues were with stability and such with version 1 since it was rock solid for me but version 2 has already come and gone off of my phone and it won't be coming back. It was a disaster and yes, I wiped dalvik cache, cache, system and data twice before installing it. Very weird things were happening after installing this ROM. App's would launch themselves out of nowhere. I would hit the icon to launch on app and a different app would launch (this didn't happen every time....just every x number of times I went to launch an app. X being more than 7 but less than 12. A few apps that ran flawlessly on version 1 simply would do nothing on version 2. When I say do nothing I mean, I would tap the icon in the app drawer and nothing would happen for about 5 seconds and then the app drawer would close and I would be returned to the home screen of the launcher. I am using Apex as my launcher but I noticed that another person had said that there were issues with Nova as well. So this is stable and version 1 was not? I really liked version 1. It was rock solid for me and I did not have a single issue with it. I find it very unfortunate that the dev has chosen to go in another direction and has abandon version 1. Unfortunately the new direction leave everything to be desired. And while I am venting (and this is directed at Slim Bean)...who releases a ROM these days with such a limited power control? No options when rebooting? It may seem like a small thing but when I want to reboot into recovery it sure is nice to have that option right there instead of having to get all of the buttons and keys pressed properly at exactly the right moment. In any case, I hear Black Bean 9 is pretty nice. I think I will give it a try. BTW...I don't mean to sound like an ungrateful b**ch. I have been involved in the development of Windows based software in the past so I know how hard the development process can be. I am just very disappointed that what had been the best ROM I had ever installed on my phone had been somehow labeled unstable and was replaced by the most unstable ROM I have ever installed on my phone. It is now back to trying to find a ROM that fits the bill for me.

Just install beta 1 again....

Same here beta 1 was rock solid for me.Play with v2 for 5 mins running Slim Bean now shit nice.

Just do the steps again. If any thing flash slim bean ROM first then flash this one over after a full wipe.

Cool, thanks.I'm almost home, I have to put a few text messages and kik conversations on hold for a bit. I think I mentioned this a page back, I love the HALO feature, best thing since sliced bread lol.

Spoke too soon, when I take a picture with instagrams advanced Front facing camera it rebooted.

Hey Flakito, I have no data/media/Storage folder -_- Unless you meant Android/data/media, I checked in my computer and there's nothing there. Oh, and no reboot after taking a picture with the from facing camera. My titanium backup folder isn't even there -_-

Yea you ran into the one problem that gets me really ifffy about flashing AOSP based ROMs and that's the storage/0 folder. What file explorer are you using??

I recommend Root browser, just Google root browser apk.

Should look like this.
