Just my opinion but I think version 2 was a step backwards. I am not sure what the devs issues were with stability and such with version 1 since it was rock solid for me but version 2 has already come and gone off of my phone and it won't be coming back. It was a disaster and yes, I wiped dalvik cache, cache, system and data twice before installing it. Very weird things were happening after installing this ROM. App's would launch themselves out of nowhere. I would hit the icon to launch on app and a different app would launch (this didn't happen every time....just every x number of times I went to launch an app. X being more than 7 but less than 12. A few apps that ran flawlessly on version 1 simply would do nothing on version 2. When I say do nothing I mean, I would tap the icon in the app drawer and nothing would happen for about 5 seconds and then the app drawer would close and I would be returned to the home screen of the launcher. I am using Apex as my launcher but I noticed that another person had said that there were issues with Nova as well. So this is stable and version 1 was not? I really liked version 1. It was rock solid for me and I did not have a single issue with it. I find it very unfortunate that the dev has chosen to go in another direction and has abandon version 1. Unfortunately the new direction leave everything to be desired. And while I am venting (and this is directed at Slim Bean)...who releases a ROM these days with such a limited power control? No options when rebooting? It may seem like a small thing but when I want to reboot into recovery it sure is nice to have that option right there instead of having to get all of the buttons and keys pressed properly at exactly the right moment. In any case, I hear Black Bean 9 is pretty nice. I think I will give it a try. BTW...I don't mean to sound like an ungrateful b**ch. I have been involved in the development of Windows based software in the past so I know how hard the development process can be. I am just very disappointed that what had been the best ROM I had ever installed on my phone had been somehow labeled unstable and was replaced by the most unstable ROM I have ever installed on my phone. It is now back to trying to find a ROM that fits the bill for me.
