Its alright either way delete everything you just posted except Stock Launcher given your afraid otherwise given something comes fruition problem wise and you non intentionally factory reset it will wipe everything including Nova unless you converted it prior to system app from user nothing to worry about.Also use Rom ToolBox pro to convert user to system therefore in case of a wipe everything is still there and youtube use tubemate its lower on ram use compared that stock crap every phone ships with

Thanks. I'll start deleting / uninstall some of those apps. I have a couple of unrelated issues that you might have a solution. But I'm going to deal with this first. Thanks to both of you @rbheromax & @MyFormIsCrack.
 
I will be uploading all the system apps/ libs so in case you need them, you can adb push. I guess a write-up on how to use adb would be great too.
 
Your welcome given its the only reason I'm here nothing else also try your best never to freeze an app sure it may not appear in your app draw but initial RAM use is still there equating a slower phone contrasted to actually uninstallng freeing up RAM simultaneaouly a faster phone.Have to go though only came momentarily to recompense certain threads bb? take care and good luck

Glad you mentioned the freeze app issue because that's one of my issues. It can wait though till later. I'll post something on that later... :thumbup:
 
How about Google Account Manager and Google Bookmarks Sync.? And the Stock browser? I use Opera Mini and UC Browser.
 
does anyone have the minstro 2 used orginally when rooting this phone to go in the main root thread? ive seen it change & update in the playstore a few times so wondering if that matters when rooting this phone , of course i gave mine away but just curious if the one from the playstore even works with poot anymore since there always updateing it? i noticed also that there was 2 versions of minstro 2 in the f-droid opensource store that could also be used if the one from playstore doesnt work any longer
 
Everything seems to be working fine with all this cleaning up of unwanted & unnecessary apps. Opened up internal storage space and the phone seems a bit faster. Now I'm trying to figure out how to move certain apk's to /system/app so that I can get rid of the stock launcher and browser. Some apk's you're not sure to which app it belongs to because of the name. What is that apk's file name for the stock browser and launcher?

OK. But I am trying to find the apk's of either opera or UC Browser and of Nova Launcher so that I can do what you recommended.

By the way... You've been very helpful :thumbup: I'm gonna bug you later on with something else as soon as I'm done with this first.
 
Well no luck. Can't find the apk file name for Nova Launcher and Opera Mini so that I can move them to the /system/app/ :mad:

Forementioned url is my own db link to a free version of RTBP a paid app but given nothing is regular about me could care less about that only thing that matters to me at the moment is helping you nothing else

Either way upon installation go to app manager and convert both Opera and Nova to system app.Also equivalent to freezing commentary try your best not to ever just move an app to sys/app given its just that nothing else.Wipe and they will still get deleted actually converting and moving two different things

Thanks. I will go and check that out.

Yesterday I did everything you and rbheromax suggested as far as deleting/uninstalling bloatware and other unnecessary apps. The phone seemed to be working smoother and didn't freeze. I even watch a full movie in Netflix without the phone giving me problems.

I later downloaded the free version of RTBP from the store to check it out before getting the paid version. I started running it and playing with it to see what it can do and the phone froze! :mad:

I thought I had solve the freezing problem but I still have problems also when I use UC Browser or Opera Browser. I usually use Opera Mini but I use the other ones for video streaming since mini would only let me download.

Anyway, I'm still dealing with the lagging and freezing :(

I also read in one of your post in another forum concerning battery life. You suggested to move all possible apps to SD card to help with battery, RAM and CPU. I just did that. But I also just read in another forum that on Android 4.x and up it is not recommended to move apps to SD card. My hydro runs on 4.x. What do you think on that? :confused:

Is it true that a using apps like SD booster or the booster that comes with RTBP can hurt the SD card?

If you think RTBP, will help I will buy it. But you have to show me how to use it.
 
Just purchased RTBP. Learning how to use it. What's the best settings for the CPU that will help with the freezing /laging and battery?

I have much respect for you because of your knowledge and abilities. But sometimes you speak foreign to me. I don't know what LV is. I don't understand RTBP and to what values I should set everything.

Also with RTBP I tried converting an app, like Nova browser, as a system app and got the message 'Failed converting Nova Launcher'. I tried with other apps and it said the same.
And what about RAM? I'm using an app call 'RAM Manager Pro'.

Lastly, is it OK to delete data/system/throttle files? What are they for?

UPDATE : LV= License Verification. Got it! But I still need help with setting all the values in RTBP.
 
Guys don't complicate things, SWIM just went go to Google, and DL nova launcher apk, deleted a few sys apps (google+, YouTube,maps) and pushed nova launcher and set permissions to rw-r--r-- an it works

All those apps you mentioned I already deleted them.
 
download es file manager, press menu, click tools, click on root sexplorer, goto mount rw, remount /system as rw (not to), then goto /data then click app, look for nova launched icon, hold it (long press) select copy, then travel back to /system then click app, paste it here, long press nova launcher icon again, goto properties and make it look like
