Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Yeah it made it to the top of r/Android today and I knew I had seen it before - oh well, still cool.

Good morning - happy Tuesday.

Not gonna lie, I'm still miffed that my employer can't get me on direct deposit, but depositing checks with my phone is quite convenient. :)

Yeah I do that for my MIL rent checks. Considering nearest back branch is 40 miles away from my house, very convenient.

I only use the phone deposit if I'm not in immediate need of the funds.....which means it is rarely used. The ATM deposit allows me access to at least half of a check immediately.

I don't even have a branch to go to for depositing of checks, BUT since I rarely deal with them I am okay with it. One of the pros for some, cons for others of using Simple.

It looks similar to what ING started out as. Do you love it? Any cons other than no actual branches?

My bank started accepting deposits from phones not long ago and I've done a couple just to see how well it worked. I've been pretty pleased with it. I still prefer just going to the bank and depositing it with the teller, but when I get busy and can't make it to the bank in time I will end up using the phone deposit.

The kids(8-12) on Junior MasterChef Australia are unbelievably good. The stuff they plate and knowledge is like they been cooking for 20 years.

They are all very similar - this, CapitalOne 360 / ING, Ally, etc.

I just like Simple because they are very tech forward - their app is stellar and their website is awesome. Their customer support is also outstanding, I have had absolutely no problems and someone gets back to me within an hour or two of my question.

My favorite feature is automatic check sending. I set an amount (for example my rent payment) and it takes it out of my "Safe to Spend" amount and a few days before the first of the month they automatically deduct the funds, and mail out a check to my landlord so technically I save money on envelopes and stamps. It's so effortless - I love it.

I may have to seriously look into it. The only reason I keep Bank of America is because I love their website. Simple sounds much more user friendly.

Thx

Wait and see how your current phone is holding up? Should the link price false, you could always get the X still.

Amazing. Lg has on screen buttons for the G2 with no black bar behind them! Why is it that other companies figure this out? I'm still not a fan of the volume and power on the back of the device.

WHOOO post 4000... though i would share with my nexican family

Whoever owns that house, is one lucky person. Simply beautiful.
