Hey guys here's how to get into recovery

Hold power and volume down
Start to tap the back and home buttons at the same time
As soon as you see the key lights come on then let go of the
Power and volume down buttons but keep tapping the home and back buttons
You will see some words for a split second in the upper left hand corner and then it goes straight into cwm

So this won't factory reset?

Yes it goes directly into recovery but once I got into it I tried to flash something and it said it could not mount SD card
Also I flashed cm10.1 again and this recovery is still there along with the recovery built into cm10

Yea, 2nd-init needs to be removed from CM ROM now.

not yet! not until auto wipe gets fixed. i'm only gonna use loki cwm to avoid unbrick method

i think that auto wipe code is in the bootloader (aboot)

because even if you erase (zero out) the recovery partition, and then try to boot to recovery, it still wipes data

i wonder what the best way to work around this is

use aboot C, but the problem with that is that loki was made for aboot f. So the only way to fix this would to have bliss redo the source for firmware C, unless someone else thinks they can do it :)

2nd init can be removed from cm no problem. you guys can use custom kernels no problem, lg does something stupid with recovery, but it will be fixed :P

edit: to clarify im talking about 2nd init in the kernel, by all means keep the 2nd init recovery for now :P
