Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Yeah Memphis is FedEx air hub. Everything goes through there on the east coast. Even though you and DE are close, there is no established route from there to your regional hub in Pittsburgh. So it goes via Memphis.
Yeah and Memphis is where they almost lost my engagement ring because it got on the "wrong plane" two days before I was going to propose. :|

So my Chromecast is at "local US postal service facility" and delivery isn't until Monday. I wonder if I can go there and pick it up?

That is true, but capacitive buttons mean you need more bezel to make space for them. Plus you can make software buttons disappear to use that screen space if running the right custom rom. But that is the beauty of choice, we can both get what we prefer. :)

Not really. HD max has a bigger bezel than my tbolt did.

I received an email saying my N7 was delivered at 12:14pm. I go outside to look for it. Nowhere to be found. The facility calls me and then the driver calls me. He describes the house and my vehicle sitting out front and where he put the package, not there. I basically live out in a wooded are and the neighbors here all know each other and there is very little traffic that goes by. He says he is coming back.

Okay. Something isn't right. I had a knock at the door. It was my landlord with my package. I heard a vehicle outside and she said FedEx just left. She told me: He got out of his truck went all the way around back to get the package and proceed to tell here that someone woman about a mile down the road, by a restaurant, flagged him down saying she picked it up thinking it was a phone book. Now there were phonebook deliveries yesterday. If he put it where he said he did why would she have it now if phonebooks were delivered yesterday? And why would he go all the way around to the back of the truck to get it if someone just flagged him down 1 mile down the road? I would think it would be right up by him considering the so called situation he explained. I noticed the package was ripped open and retaped. Did he accidently/purposely rip it open see what was and decided to keep it himself thinking he would get away with it?

I have never had a problem with FedEx or UPS.

And the seal for the box was off already but the plastic around the N7 has yet to be pulled off.

I would be calling the boys in blue myself. Seems someone may have had an inkling what was in the box.

All I can say about the new N7 is it feels a lot better when holding. It is charging right now. MY OG N7 is back to stock and relocked ready to go to its new owner.

And the date I was to have tonight canceled because she couldn't find a sitter. I tried to GIVE AWAY tickets and no one would take them. I even asked a couple at a bar. They would have taken them but they had an event to attend already. Good thing tickets to the Improv aren't that expensive.

Wow halon, crazy! Sounds pretty shady. I can't believe someone would risk their job for a 270 tablet.

Of course someone has been stealing drinks and change from my desk at work. So I guess some people are just stupid like that.

I've had a problem with fed ex in the past where the driver pulled up to my apartment complex, and someone else flagged him down while outside, and said the package was for him. The driver didn't even ask for any id or even which apartment he lived in and just gave him my package.

Turns out the joke was on the other guy because all it was was an empty box to send my playstation in for an RMA :p
I still called Sony to have them send another box and rose hell with fed ex customer service and asked to be elevated to file a formal complaint.

About the new N7.... THE SPEAKERS ARE AWESOME! That alone is worth it! Seriously! Yes the screen is fantastic and it feels much better in the hand, but those speakers...nice :)

The first thing I did was check out the Transformer movie and I was sold right there!

My cigarette savings are about half way to a new one. I really miss my OG, but the new one looks like a worthy replacement.

Not that it's probably a big deal for us, but Google wallet isn't compatible with the new Nexus 7 since it doesn't have a secure element.

I accidentally ran over a rattlesnake at work. I was just pulling out when I hit him. I put him down with a shovel since he was rolling around in pain then threw him off the road.

RIP and scratch one snake :D

If you're on the Sourceress ROM and didn't get the push notification, go to ROM Updates in Tools. There will you find the new Believe ROM, based on Android 4.3... along with the 4.3 Gapps, SuperSU (the ROM isn't rooted) and PRIMED04 bootloader.

It is NOT Sourcery, but a whole new beginning!

Make your backups and get your flashing hat on :D
