Congratulations to Prince William and the new mum Kate on the birth of their baby boy :-)

Ugh, I'm sick of this damn baby already. Is there really nothing important going on in the world where CNN has to spend two days (so far) speculating on what they're going to name the royal brat?
 
They went with "George."

I was hoping for something new. Hagg would have been cool. Prince Hagg.

Nice ring to it.

I know. ;) They use, "house of Windsor" rather than calling it the last or family name, etc.

But it's nevertheless the "full name" on birth records. :)

The Queen's:

Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor

So your new Prince received a nod to the Queen with his "Alexander."
 
I saw a side-by-side photo the other day that had me doing the "WHERE did the time go?!" gasp. It was a split screen, William and Kate holding their new baby on the left, and Charles and Diana holding their new baby (William) on the right. Was that REALLY 31 years ago? :eek:

Also, that pic let me notice something I hadn't even thought about before: Kate's dress was polka-dotted--as was Diana's. I think that was a very sweet nod to the late princess.
 
There's a city called, "Prince George" in my province. I wonder if Prince George will ever come to visit Prince George.
 
It was kind of a shame that they went with a generic heir to the throne name with George. Times have changed. How about a King Kong or something. I'd have even settled for king Edmond as Black Adder tried so hard. Anyway where's the originality?:D:confused:

You do what Kate did and stalk a Prince(preferably heir to the throne and not his brother.....) follow him to university(this truly was her reasoning to choose st Andrews university!) And capture his attention by wearing something revealing, but not too revealing that would cause embarrassment in later life!

Lol pretty much! But who knows, New Prince might be gay! Then maybe my son will have a chance at becoming...erm, not sure what he'd then become :-P

Why are they even still around? People that do nothing and get everything handed to them simply because they were born, and have a title that will change to a higher ranking title some day. Seems pretty stupid to me that people still worship a family like that.

There are plenty of things... NSA spying, GMOs poisoning us all, Benghazi, the IRS targeting non-socialists, the $17+ trillion national debt, plus many, many other stories. That is why they are talking so much about 1 baby (out of the thousands born at the same time), because it distracts people from the truth... gotta protect the president and keep those voters from being informed!
