Did you get the Android 4.3 OTA on the N4 Yet?

Came through last night around 9pm. I had been clearing the Services Framework, but I'd done that several times during the day so it might just have been my time.
 
Apparently 4.3 was downloaded without my knowledge, cutting into the data bandwidth. I responded to the notification to Install it Saturday afternoon. The debugging scrollbar seemed to hang for far too long at about 17%, but after a session at the local swimming pool it was completed and rebooted.

I've avoided (by un-installing after trying) the Gmail and Maps updates while using 4.2.2, but am now stuck with them. 3 touches instead of two to delete a simple email, and I still can't figure out how to use the new Google Maps one-handed at articulated arm's length.

Feeling too old anymore, somewhat resistant to nonsensical change ... and not sure what to do about it. I stopped and got some cold Rainier cherries but they didn't help much. I couldn't even get Maps to navigate "Home" without endless selections.
 
Do this. It works

Go to settings / apps / all / Google services framework / clear cache / clear data / force stop it / exit out / reboot the phone .

When the phone boots back up go to settings / about phone / system updates / you should see the update .
 
Shouldn't be anything you'll notice.

Worst case scenario you'll have to sign into the play store again

It should be noted that method doesn't always work. It just gives you a new ticket in the lottery drawing
 
It turned off Location Services, asked me to turn it on again after reboot...
but it did work, waiting for download now.

I have done this in the past with my Gnex to push the updates. No issues.

Or maybe this?

Just did the framework services trick and it appeared. It's installing right now. I had planned to wait to get the kinks out....but what the hell right?
 
How far did it get. It's appears to be almost done on mine, the progress bar finished, it rebooted, and now it's optimizing my apps and what not.


...and it's up, before I could hit send.

I guess you had to delete and reset your goggle accent like I did?

When I was done with my phone, I forced the update on my Nexus 10. That update went smooth like the phone. I also had to reset my Google account.

1) go to Settings > Apps > All

2) Find Google Services Framework

3) Force stop Google Services Framework

4) Clear data for Google Services Framework

5) Go back to Settings and check for the upgrade

I did this three or four times and then it upgraded.

I also then has to unlink my GMail account and re-add it as... I got errors from the Play store on updates.

Following this worked perfectly :D ... I got the error on Maps download until I removed and re-added Google account.

The only issue for me was having to delete and resign into my Google account. One other person said they had to redo their ringtones. Other than that, I have heard no other issues.
 
I've installed 4.3 :)

A few of my apps wont update though, including maps, 9GAG, NFC Task launcher etc. How do i unlink my google account?
 
Yup, i reset both of my Google accounts. My general ringtones and notifications went unchanged, but since my contacts are tied to gmail, i had to set the contact ringtones.
