Aboat if we got to flash over cm10 wouldn't that be the base.Not trying to stir up or mislead thread off topic:) Can you please school me about baseless ROM I really don't understand why is it named baseless when it needs a base in order to flash regardless does it.:confused::confused:Sorry aboat not trying to disrespect:o

This is called "baseless" because its not an entire ROM, its just the components/config/modification made by a team to create their own custom android. In order for you to use this ports, you to have android jelly bean 4.1.2 already flashed, the dev said it could be CyanogenMod's version or Android Open Source Program (clean stock android) however we don't have a AOSP version, we only have PG's CM10 version.

These all are teams that take the original Android Open Source Program (this is android stock in all versions) and the above teams just move stuff around add or take stuff to personalize android much more.

The ports on this thread are "baseless" because these ports are not full ROMs.
This ports are only the modified components to transform in this case, the stock Jelly Bean 4.1.2, into a modified ROM's equivalent to those listed.
CM, AOKP, Avatar, Parandroid. The benefit of this "baseless" ROM's is for the compiling devs, they don't need to request authorization from the creators because this is not a full ROM, also once our version of jelly bean gets fully functional we dont have to wait for any of those teams to compile a version specifically for our device, we could just flash this "baseless" rom to transform our 4.1 JB CM from PG to either Avatar JB, Paranoid JB or AOKP JB.
 
May I ask...is anyone really good at update scripts? I am working on a special something and might need a bit of assist if anyone would actually like to help. :-)
Right now my script is half way there but I need some better eyes

yo, i was getting random reboots into bootloops on pac itself. it was running fine for a minute then bam!!!!! just started acting silly

That happened to me once too...after that it was fine..don't ask..dunno...weird weird...jb will do that once too. Incoming on job causes fc...that's OK with me cause I never answer..lmao..fixing that. I'm flipping out with the mix and match that works on all of these. I have made some crazy Frankenstein stuff that works but I'll never release. But omg this newest project is an update script nightmare for a no nothing like me. :-)
