I'm so glad to hear a price of $200-$250. My Sprint contract just expired in March and I have a $150 phone upgrade credit!! They better let me keep that for the EVO in June.
You do understand that price already includes the $150 and $100 rebate.

3.2" vs. 4.3" display.

my Centro display is 2.2" diagonal (square). do you think i'll notice a difference?

i was waiting for dude in the video to spark up a doobie.

I used my Centro the other day, and when I picked my Pre back up I was shocked. The EVO is HUGE.

I would say a big notice able difference. And a nice difference. I can't see without my glasses so evo will help with that issue. I will love being able to browse the web like I can on my laptop.

To be clear: the $200 price is AFTER upgrade credits. The BEFORE credit price will probably be $600 or so.
So let's say the retail is something like $500. The subsidized price is $300 and $100 mail in rebate. This what everyone would get for a 2yr contract. Now I should get an additional $150 because of my credit on a new phone upgrade right??? These are all prices for example not real pricing.

I have always gotten my phones at the sprint store but paid a lot and waited almost 6 or so weeks to get the rebate..thus was my experiance with the pre. So, I think I will try Best Buy. Hopefully I get the instant rebate. And pay $200-$250 instead of the full asking price.

Thanks. I know about the MIR. How about the plans and protection with purchasing it at Bestbuy?

I got hammered last night and had a dream where I was in front of my house explaining to a 12 year old (who was convinced that Froyo was android 3.1 and that it was already out) that it wasn't going to happen and 2.2 itself is still in the works for EVO, supposedly.

EVO is officially in my brain.

So you are saying everyone gets a $150 credit. Even new customers. So, it's not a special deal that my account on Sprint.com says I can upgrade my phone now and get $150 off???
Yes new customers get the same discount. That is there to let you know you can get the phone at new customer pricing for your completion of your contract

no your price will prbly still be 200... unless you trade in an old phone and thats a good question can you do the phone trade in at bestbuy. i doubt u can

Sorry I don't know. But I am sure you could call and ask best buy. I have read stuff here in the forum. I will get insurance on it as well. I always have insurance for my phones. To me its worth it.

all I am asking for is 199 after MIR and the one I am getting for sure for the wife wont hurt the pocket to much but I think I decided to get one for my self in august gonna see what happens with the other rumored lg motorla and other phones coming then decide I am picky on phones.

No problem. I totally agree. I will def get a protection for this phone.

Yepp June 6th as of right now is the date the Evo will be released in Best buy and such. June 13th is actual Sprint stores.

Jackson

Jackson as much info that you have and I have nothing to back my theory with I just can't see sprint releasing this phone through other stores before its available through them. This is their flagship phone so I think this will be released the same day for everybody, so weather thats June 6th or 13th but it will be through everybody the same day. Why would sprint want to make themself look bad by releasing it through other stores besided them first. It just makes no sense I don't remember ever doing that with any other phone before.

im half tempted to make a wildcard ignore... o and dk the only reason why they would do this is because of an agreement with best buy. prbly something to the extent is if you market our phones before verizon we will give you access to this new tech first
