It's got to do with following a direction rather than following a set road map and accomplishing goals along the road. Less stress when you lose the minor goals and follow the wind direction, keeping your eyes on the final goal. I think.
The map is not the territory.

And it's bs cos its french and danish cheese that stinks. Dutch cheese is quite neutral.
