Holy crap, you won't believe how I'm typing this right now! I'm using CM-10 thanks to g60madman, xInterloperx, and Chairshot!!!

Note- above score is with CM-10 and VaeVic-MG5-OC, and I believe it's a record for the Victory. ;)

Superuser
File Manager
Gallery
gapps (flashed seperately)
Google Play Store
Google Services (including Android Device Manager)
Google Account Sync (synced)
Google Search (Google Now)
Google Maps (gps is flaky)
Video including YouTube!
All overlays (gallery, keyboard, apps in portrait mode, etc)
GPS (not very good)

Not working:
MMS
WiFi
Bluetooth
Camera
Apollo (only plays natively recorded files atm)
Torch
 
This is all g60madman, xInterloperx, and Chairshot's work, I just built their source. Hoping to have time to help out next week when my boss gets back. ;)
 
How significant are the remaining issues?

If it's booting and the radios work it seems to be very close to complete.

Camera, all overlays, wifi, mms, these are the main issues.


  1. Camera- doesn't initialize, don't know why
  2. Video playback- overlays are wrong, works during screen rotation but not while in fixed position
  3. Various overlays- need to adjust sizes
  4. wifi- doesn't turn on (looking into it)
  5. mms- sends but doesn't receive (shouldn't be too hard to fix, already a commit for it)

MG5 does patch the modem, so it's suggested regardless.

No LTE in Vegas yet, except when they are testing, will let you know.

I cant thank xInterloperx, g60madman, Chairshot, and many others for the work that they have put into this already!

Firmware update?
 
Just 2 questions:

1. Will this be the first full ROM for the Victory or is there another in the works with the Victorious kernel? If working on more than one, where do you find time to sleep?

2. Does CM10 run the Victorious kernel?
 
There is a zip just wait till they are ready to release it. If they drop it early people will be screaming for fixes slowing things down.
