Swype for portrait and htc touch for landscape?

Is there a way to have swype for portrait mode but the regular htc touch keyboard for landscape mode when the phone is tilted on its side?

Also how do I make the swype keyboard go away when editing a text box? There is a little button on the htc touch keyboard to minimize it but I don't see one on the swype keyboard.

If I am not mistaken I think you can hit the Back Button Soft Key to get rid of the swype keyboard and go back to your fillable form.

No clue on your first question though.

That is unfortunate because I love swype for portrait mode but hate it for landscape mode.

ya, so far there is no way to toggle the keyboards just by switching. they are two separate applications and dont work together that way. and long press on the menu works to take the keyboard off for me

Is it possible for an app to be developed for this? Because long-pressing and re-selecting each keyboard is very inconvenient and it takes a little bit for each keyboard to load up...

That's what I was wondering too. An app to toggle keyboards depending on the orientation would be great.

I'm sorry, but where can you download swype? i saw a few weeks earlier there was a themed version available for download and i was wondering if anyone could post a link to that thread. Thanks!
