I hit wipe data/factory reset then went into backup and restore selected restore and it says no files found even though I backed it up :/

Sounds like it's time for a new rom then lol. Good thing you have cwm :)

Download a new b11 based rom to your pc. On your phone in cwm, go to mounts and storage and choose the last option (mount usb storage or similar). Copy ROM to sdcard using computer. Download and copy system prep jb to sdcard. Flash system prep first, then then b11 rom, reboot, Enjoy!

Once that is all working properly, then you can flash this kernel ;)

Like I said me being a noob (literally my first root/flash) I dont know what Rom I was running stock all I know is that it was 4.0.4 so idek if that has anything to do with b11 b9 whatever. I'm taking this as a learning experience to read up on things before doing stuff like this lol.

You were on either b07 or b09 ICS and that is why your phone will not boot. This is a JB kernel. It does not matter since you are about to upgrade to JB B11. Grab any of the roms on this forum that say b11 and the system prep zip that is on the op of all of them. Follow the instructions I provided in the post above.

Updated the OP again.

This does not work for Public Mobile.
This does not work for ICS - Android Version 4.0.4
You will not brick your phone by accidentally flashing on ICS or PMI. But please, please listen to me when i say, MAKE A BACKUP!

Don't ever flash anything that you are unsure of, until you make a full backup in cwm.

Backup 1st, everything else, 2nd

Thanks a ton! I installed the ROM that you posted in the forums and its really smooth!

If anyone is interested, I'm looking to pick up a warp sequent for development purposes. But I'm a little short on my goal. So any donations would be appreciated.
Right now I'm about 14 bucks short.
Any help would be awesome!

Thanks DTM, I've been running this OC'd to 1.8Ghz "on demand" since you released it and it's working very well. Battery life is still good and haven't had a problem whatsoever. :)

So i have the B01 jb rom, this kernal will work for that right. I mean its not ICS or public mobile so im sure it would work. I just wanted to double check

Alright cool. And For some reason i cant receive picture messages on this rom :( is that something thats still trying to be worked on?

Please post rom related questions on the rom thread so we know which rom you are referring to and to keep things slightly organized. Thanks.

Can anyone else that has flashed the beta 8e kernel run an init.d test. You will need to add the needed init.d files to your current rom setup as they are not included in 8e.

Might have had a small error in the ramdisk, i have a few set up for testing for this phone, and one of those tests may have gotten lost in the mist of all the tests I throw at testers.
Not their fault, I should have kept a little better version tracking. Anyways, i'll have an update to fix this soon.
i'll start updating the channel log as soon as i can

Is there any potential for SBC (Superior Battery Charging)?

Will this damage my battery?
Well...this is a running experiment. 8 people have reported battery issues with no real evidence of such thing other than their word. Electrical engineers have spoken of the danger but have yet to conduct an experiment of their own so...use at your own risk! This kernel could possibly blow up your phone, ruin your credit, steal your late night snacks and slap a baby turtle so USE AT YOUR OWN RISK! I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY OF THOSE THINGS (contact PETA about the baby turtle..not me).

I found this.....Somewhere else on these interwebz. But judging by that statement, it sounds like it could be potentially hazardous to the phone and hilarious if you read the end of that statement :)

I did read though the claims, and I understand what they are doing. At this point I don't think I could avocate trying to change those settings.

This would probably be near to last on my list of todos

Well I installed this last night and It appears to be running smoother.. kinda worse on the battery side... Also I have no idea what I can do with it. I read the op but I don't understand it...
