Those of you that think we may get our phones on Mon because they were processed today, I wouldn't get your hopes up. My bet is they won't even go out until Mon. I doubt they're going to be shipping on a Sat or Sun. I'd be thrilled if they proved me wrong, though. ;)

Yeah, they're not going to ship them out on a weekend. If it actually is 2-3 business days, Monday will be day 1. So the earliest people would get them is Tuesday.

Agreed - it costs more to ship out on a weekend (if the service is even available) - and FedEx and UPS count overnight as BUSINESS days.

For those that show 2-3 days, my guess is that they are leaving the warehouse and going to UPS/FedEx where it will sit for a few days until the proper delivery/release date... but who knows.
 
I just got off the phone with verizon after seeing that my order has moved to processing. The rep I spoke to had no clue about the ship dates at all, but passed me to her supervisor who said that they are shipping preorders in the order received on monday because of the number of orders and that they want to male sure everyone gets theirs on time.

Mine just got processed within the last couple hours.

OK, so I was unaware until a couple of days ago that if you are having your phone delivered to a business that you had to include the business's name along with the address when you are filling out the shipping information, which I did not do. So I placed a 2nd order on the 23rd, does anyone know if they will just ship me 2 of them and I will have to return 1, or will they cancel one of them. I called VZW cust service and they were not sure and they also said that they wouldn't really be able to cancel 1 of the order's manually. I'm not sure what I should do, I just want to make sure nothing weird happens and I don't get anything by the 29th.

I have a question though....did the updates stop?do you guys think they do automated updates and continue tomorrow? my # is 327531xxx don't wanna give up hope getting it earlier than 29th :cool:

i doubt they'll stop processing any time soon. i was up at 2am last night and people were still posting about their updates then. i think its all automatic - not sure if it runs all night though...probably.

I have in the past ordered stuff overnight Friday and gotten them Saturday. I also have ordered Saturday and have gotten them Monday.

I really depends on the shipping company. My buddy works for ups and he still movies packages from warehouse to warehouse on Sundays. Just no home or work deliveries.

So, my favorite saying: Plan for the worst and hope for the best. Lets hope for Monday but assume Thursday...

I just started messing around of the "Check Your Status" site and I entered probably 25 order numbers in between 519999999 and 520053999 and more than have said that the order number did not exist and a couple others were for different phones(they had already been shipped and received). So it looks like there isn't an order attached to every order number.
