I had no clue that if you made a backup before you flash a ROM and didn't like or whatever that you could go into recovery and backup and restore and select restore and it restores stock to the way you previously were o.O
Also is it good to make daily backups? Just in case :p

Yes you can and it is very helpful...If i was you and this is being new to you...find what you can about it though google and read up about recovery and the tools it has to offer for your phone..

No need to make daily backups...what i do is get to a rom.. stock.. whatever is 100% working that you know of and make a back up of that so you can revert if you need...or do a back up every month or so to update...but make sure you are 100% on the rom or stock version...

I was not too surprised when I found out the first time, back when I was toying around with my first smartphone. Recovery is fun.

HoUdInI's advice is spot on, no need to make daily recoveries, unless you are changing ROMs and features on a daily basis.

Good rule of thumb: Any time you are going to install something that alters system files, or could result in a boot loop or some other ill symptom, MAKE A BACKUP. That way reverting to how you had it is simple.

I have a 16GB external sd, and I keep 2 back ups on it at all times. 1 is stock rooted, 1 is the most recent back up I made before I added/removed something important, just in case. Good way to go about things.

Each of my backups is like almost 2GB, which is fine by me because it still leaves 12GB of space for music, movies, roms, and guides on how to take over the world, which is plenty of space ;)
