Couldn't they just hold them in the warehouse until Wednesday? I'm hoping I get mine early but I'm just not sure that they're actually going to pre-ship them ahead of the launch.
 
FYI, I just got an email this morning at 8:25am from Verizon that my order has shipped, complete with FedEx tracking number. Woohoooooooooooooooo!
 
I hate to admit how obsessed I am with this phone. I've been playing around with verizon's little order status thingy, checking the status of different numbers. Right now 327398xxx has been processed. 327399xxx has not.

The processing seems to have slowed down. Maybe the orders are being processed by humans and maybe they have a smaller crew on the night shift or on Sundays?

Something weird about the VZW/fedex email was that the order number in the email did not match the internet order number. Hope this is nothing to worry about.

I noticed the same thing. I now have a 6 digit order number that starts with 9. However, I've ordered nothing else from Verizon so it can only be the phone. The only thing I can think is that the original number is your internet sales order number and this number is probably for the warehouse. I just wish there was something that linked this email with my original order, but like I said, there's nothing else they could be shipping me.

Edit: For those keeping score at home, Irmcnuke and I placed our order at approx the same time Monday morning. I got my original order confirmation at 5:53am.
 
So we haven't cracked the 327400's huh? Thats depressing. I shot off an email to InternetSales last night just asking them about processing in general and which carrier they use. The email was innocent enough so hopefully they give me something to work with.

I know they move packages on weekends, just don't do delivery. Possibility that they were inserted into the FedEx system yesterday and are moving right now. In any event, my best/worst case went from Tues/Thurs to Mon/Tues. I'm psyched! :D

Well, what does it say when you type in the FedEx number? :eek:
 
Not sure if business accounts are different. Ordered one on Friday through my online business account. Got a number of MB35896xxx. Shows order being processed. Check back tomorrow. Ordered another one last night. MB35951xxx. That one says order processed. Will receive in 2 to 3 days. Don't know why the second one processed before the first one did.
 
so check this out on the verizon order status page it say this:

Order Number: 327380xxx
Order Status: We have received your order. Please check back tomorrow.

Yet this morning I got a shipment notification with tracking number that my package was shipped out. It does say estimated delivery April 28th. Do anyone elses say that date or any earlier.
 
I recieved my shipment notification and tracking numbers....says expected delivery date of 4/28....WHOOOOOOHOOOOOO!!

Ordered mine about 7:45 am EST on 4/19/2010. I checked yesterday afternoon and it had not been processed yet. Hoping to see the tracking information soon... Looks like this could get here by Tuesday!
 
OK, so it looks like Wednesday is the day. I guess we can all take a 3 day break. Or check back and see if anyone gets theirs on Tuesday too :D
